  • Rough Work Sheets: The invigilator in the exam hall will provide sheets for candidates to do rough work. These sheets can be used for calculations, diagrams, or any other rough work related to the exam. It is essential to utilise these sheets the invigilator provides and not use any additional loose sheets.
  • Preserving the Answer Sheet: Candidates should handle the answer sheet carefully and not fold or damage it. Any damage to the answer sheet may lead to difficulties in evaluation and scoring.
  • Prohibited Items: Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying any books, notes, electronic gadgets, loose sheets, calculators, mathematical and drawing instruments, stencils of maps, log tables, slide rules, test booklets, or rough sheets into the exam hall. These items are not allowed as they can provide an unfair advantage or disrupt the examination process.
  • Mobile Phones, Bluetooth Devices, and Smartwatches: Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, or smartwatches are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates are advised to ensure these devices are not carried to the exam centre. Violation of this rule may result in disqualification from the examination.
  • Reporting Time: It is recommended that candidates reach the exam centre at least one hour before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card. This allows sufficient time for the verification process and avoids any last-minute rush or delays.

NDA 2024 Cut-Off

The NDA 2024 cutoff refers to the minimum qualifying score candidates must achieve to qualify for the NDA examination. The cutoff applies to the written exams and the subsequent SSB (Services Selection Board) Interviews. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the cutoff for the written exam and the final selection process.

For the NDA written examination, the cutoff for the year 2024 will be calculated out of a total of 900 marks. Candidates’ performance in the written exam will determine their eligibility for the SSB Interviews. The final cutoff, determined by UPSC, will be based on a total of 1800 marks, with 900 marks for the written exam and 900 for the SSB Interview.

The final merit list for the NDA exam will be prepared based on the final cutoff. It is important to note that previous years’ cutoffs can be referred to for an understanding of the trend and competitiveness of the exam. Note that the cutoff marks may vary each year depending on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of vacancies, and the overall performance of the candidates.

Factors Affecting NDA Cutoff Marks

Several factors can influence the cutoff marks for the NDA examination. These factors can vary from year to year and may impact the exam’s overall competitiveness and qualifying criteria. Some key factors affecting NDA cutoff marks are

  • The difficulty level of the exam: The complexity and difficulty of the NDA examination can play a significant role in determining the cutoff marks. If the exam is perceived as challenging, the cutoff marks may be relatively lower, whereas an easier exam may result in higher cutoff marks.
  • The number of vacancies: The number of vacancies available for the NDA can affect the cutoff marks. If the number of vacancies is limited, the competition among candidates becomes more intense, potentially leading to higher cutoff marks.
  • The total number of candidates: The number of candidates appearing for the NDA exam can also impact the cutoff marks. A larger pool of candidates may result in higher competition, potentially leading to higher cutoff marks.
  • Performance of candidates: The performance of candidates in a particular year can influence the cutoff marks. If many candidates perform exceptionally well, the cutoff marks may be higher to select the most deserving candidates.
  • Reservation policy: The reservation policy implemented by the conducting authority can also affect the cutoff marks. Reserved categories may have different qualifying criteria, which can impact the overall cutoff marks for each category.

NDA 2024 SSB Interview

The SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview aims to assess the intelligence and personality traits of the candidates. The interview process is typically scheduled for five days.
