MAH B.Ed CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The important information about the eligibility criteria is given below for the candidates:

Educational Qualification for Maharashtra State Candidature:

Candidates must be an Indian. Candidates Should have passed Bachelors’s/Master’s Degree with subjects in Science/Maths/Social Science/Humanity Science/Commerce with minimum 50% marks for general category & reserved category candidate will get relaxation of 5%.

  • Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and or Master’s Degree with the subjects in Management/Engineering/Computers/Law/Information-Technology/Agriculture/BBI/Medical Sciences/Fine Art/Performing Art (Music/Dance/Drama etc.) and secured a minimum 55% marks for general & reserved category candidates will get 5% relaxation.
  • Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination in the academic year 2018-2019 are also eligible to apply for CET.
  • Candidates from out of Maharashtra state should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree awarded by any of the universities qualification recognized by the Govt. of India/NCTE with a minimum of 3 years duration in any discipline or possess an equivalent with a minimum 55% of marks for all categories.

MAH B.Ed CET 2020 Exam Pattern

MAH B.Ed 2020 Exam Pattern has been provided below.

  • Duration of Exam – The exam will be done through Online Mode (CBT).
  • Duration of Exam – The exam paper will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes i.e 90 minutes for B.Ed CET and 1 Hour i.e 60 minutes for B.Ed ELCT.
  • Types of questions – The Test will be Comprise of Multiple Choice Objective type questions with four options.
  • Sections – There will be a total of 3 sections. 
  • Number of Questions – The Total Number of questions is 100.
  • Number of Marks – The Total Number of Marks is 100.
  • Marking Scheme – Contenders will be given one mark for every appropriate response and no marks will be withheld for an inappropriate response.
  • Negative Marking – There is no Negative Marking System in this Test.
  • The medium of Language – The question paper will be in English and Marathi medium for B.Ed CET (General & Special) & Only English for B.Ed ELCT.
