NEET SS, short for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses), is conducted annually by the National Board of Education. It serves as a qualifying cum ranking exam for admission to various DM/MCh courses, offering entry into several super speciality programs. Unlike other courses, there is no separate entrance test for admission to these super speciality courses; NEET SS acts as the sole entrance examination for this purpose.

This examination is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has notified the National Board of Examination to conduct the NEET SS Entrance Examination. NEET SS 2024 Application Form 

On the official website of the National Board of Examination, the NEET SS Application Form has been available on 4th February 2025. Those applicants who want to get admission to DNB super-speciality & FNB Fellowship courses; can fill out the application form online based on their eligibility criteria.

• Primarily, applicants need to go on the official website of the National Board of Examinations.

Application Fee

The NEET SS Examination Fee is Rs.3750/-, and the applicants can pay the application fee online by using a credit card or debit card issued by Banks in India or through online banking.

Those applicants will possess a recognized postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB) /Provisional Pass Certificate or an equivalent recognized qualification; they can apply for the NEET SS examination.

Foreign Nationals:

Foreign nationals can appear in NEET-SS 2024 without MCI registration. The Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the post-doctoral course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being exclusively for pursuing postdoctoral studies.

The cutoff date for qualifying MD/MS/DNB Broad Specialty qualification towards determination of qualification for appearing in NEET-SS 2024 shall be 25th September 2024.

NEET SS 2024 Exam Pattern

• The examinations will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions. All the questions shall be at the PG Exit level (MD/MS/DNB).

Applicants must affix their latest passport-size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. Admit cards will not be sent to the candidates by Post.

NEET SS 2024 Result

The NEET SS Result will be declared on 30th April 2025 on the official website of the National Board of Examination, and it will be declared as a merit list and separate for all subjects.

The merit list includes roll number, score out of 400, and merit/rank secured by the candidate is mentioned. The result of NEET SS will be valid for one year. The result will be in PDF format; applicants can download it for future use.
