NIT Jamshedpur Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon. National Institute Of Technology, Jamshedpur, or NIT Jamshedpur is previously known as the Regional Institute of Technology. It is a Deemed University which was founded on August 15, 1960, under the patronage of the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The university is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NIT Jamshedpur has 12 departments, 4000 Learners, 200 schools, and 150 administrative staff and auxiliary staff.

That is one of the world’s best institutes ranked amongst the best Engineering colleges in India. The university offers various quality centralized UG, PG, and Ph.D. level courses in numerous branch offices of engineering, science, computer applications, business administrations.

NIT Jamshedpur is the pioneer institute of education in the country, having begun in 1960 as the ‘Regional Institute of Technology’. Ever since, it will be significantly increased, adding at a number of departments, and being declared an Institute of National Relevance in 2007. It is now offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level programs. The courses proposed by the institute include B.Tech., M.Tech., M.Sc., MCA, and Ph.D. programs.

NIT Jamshedpur 2024 Application Form

NIT Jamshedpur Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon. Candidates seeking admission can sign up by completing all the steps specified in the application process referred to below:

For JEE / GATE / JAM

• A notification will be released by the IIT which performs examination for the year, following which the application forms will be formally released.
• The link will be available from the official JEE Main/ GATE – JAM website.
• Candidates must submit the duly filled in form, along with uploaded photographs and photocopies of marks cards, within the given time period.
• Internet payment of the application fee, generally between Rs. 100/- and Rs. 500/-, can be made through Net Banking.

For NIMCET

• A notification will be made public by the NITs regarding the process.
• Candidates have to log on to the official NIMCET website and sign up for themselves by creating a login and password as directed.
• Fill in all details in the application form, and to upload copies of all required documents before they are submitted.
• The application fee (non-repayable) of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1000/- for reserved categories) must be paid via Online Banking.
• The final submitted form and copy of the e-receipt generated must be printed and submitted to the Institute according to the request.

For Ph.D.

• Register as a new candidate and then login with the user name and password.
• Fill the form online with caution and pay the application fees online through the SBI i-collect.
• Registration Fees: INR 1000 (for Open/OBC Candidates) as well as by INR 500 (for SC/ST candidates)

NIT Jamshedpur 2024 Admissions Process

NIT Jamshedpur Admission will be based on national level exams like GATE, IIT JAM, or JEE Main. Candidates who would like to apply for any Program offered by NIT Jamshedpur, are required in order to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria to be specified by the NIT Jamshedpur.

For B.Tech 

NIT Jamshedpur features four years B. For PG Courses 

NIT Jamshedpur allows two years M.Tech 16 specialist qualification under various departments, 2-year M.Sc. in 3 specializations, and three years M.C.A. Program in multiple streams.

The choice is done through entrance exams which included below:

• M.Tech Programs, a candidate must appear in the GATE entrance exam.
• M.Sc. Admission is being done through IIT JAM.
• M.C.A. Selection rests on NIMCET Exam.

For Ph.D.
