JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for JEE Main include passing the 12th examination with specific subject combinations for various courses like B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan. Additionally, candidates must meet the minimum academic requirements, such as obtaining at least 75% marks in the 12th exam (65% for ST/SC) or being in the top 20 percentile in the 12th exams conducted by respective boards, for admission through CSAB counseling.
General Eligibility
- Nationality Requirement: Indian nationals are eligible to apply. International applicants must have obtained the required marks as specified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Qualification Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 12th-level examination in the years 2023, 2024, or 2025. Those who passed the 12th level examination in 2022 or earlier are not eligible to apply for JEE Main 2025.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear for the JEE Main exam.
- Attempt Limit: There is no limit on the number of attempts to apply for the JEE Main examination.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in the year 2025 are also eligible to apply.
State Code of Eligibility for JEE Main:
- Independent of Native Place: The state code of eligibility is not determined by the candidate’s native place or residence.
- Selection Criteria: Candidates must choose the state code of eligibility based on the state where they have qualified for their intermediate (12th level) exams.
- For Indian Nationals Abroad: Indian nationals who have passed their 12th-level exams in foreign countries must select their state code of eligibility according to the permanent address mentioned in their passports.
