OUAT 2023 UG Registration will be Started in May 2023. The OUAT is an entrance exam that is conducted every year by the official authorities of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. The official authorities of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology will organize the OUAT 2023 entrance exam at the university level for the eligible applicants in order to provide them admission to different colleges located in the Orissa State.

OUAT 2023 Application Form

The applicants will be able to get the details about the process of filling out the OUAT 2023 Application Form for the entrance exam in the below-given section.

OUAT 2023 Application fee

• The applicants are instructed to make the payment of the OUAT 2023 Application fee before the due date in order to avoid rejection of the OUAT 2023 Application form. 
• The payment of the OUAT 2023 Application fee should be done online mode by debit card, credit card or net banking facilities. 
• The OUAT 2023 Application fee will be not refunded to the applicants under any circumstances.

OUAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• The applicants who are citizen of India are only eligible to apply for the entrance exam. 

Age limit:

• The applicants who want to get admission in the institution must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31st, 2023 (Born on or before December 31st, 2003).

Domicile:

• The applicants who will hold a valid domicile certificate of Orissa state are eligible to apply for the entrance exam. 

Educational Qualification: 

For Under Graduate (UG) Course:

• The applicants must have completed HSC exams from a recognized university or board in order to get admission in the institution. 

For Post Graduate (PG) Course:

• The applicants must have completed Graduation or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field from a recognized university or institution in order to get admission in the institution. 

For Ph. D Course:

• The applicants who have completed a Master’s Degree in relevant field from a recognized university are only eligible to get admission in the institution. 

Minimum Marks:

• The applicants who will score more than 50 % marks in the qualifying exam will only be eligible to get admission in the institution. (40 % marks or more for the reserved category applicants like SC or ST).

Appearing applicants:

• The applicants who are appearing for the final exams are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

OUAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The applicants will be able to get the details about the OUAT 2023 Exam Pattern in the below-given section as it contains the basic information about the exam mode, exam duration, exam language, total marks, total questions, marking scheme, negative markings or many more. 

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be held in Offline Mode.
• Duration of Exam: The applicants will have to finish the entire question paper in 2 hrs duration only. 
• Language of Exam: The entrance exam will be conducted in English language only for the applicants to understand.
• Total Number of Questions: The question paper for the entrance exam will contain 200 questions in total. (100 questions for Post Graduate (PG) and Ph. D courses)
• Total Marks: The question paper of the entrance exam will contain maximum of 200 marks in total. (100 marks for Post Graduate (PG) and Ph. D courses)
• Type of Questions: The applicants will have to answer some objective type multiple choice questions in the entrance exam. 
• Marking Scheme: The applicants will get 1 mark for each correct answer given in the entrance exam. 
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative markings in the entrance exam for any wrong answers given by the applicants. 
• Subjects: The question paper of the entrance exam will contain some subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics / Biology. 

OUAT 2023 Exam Syllabus
