PGIMER 2023: July Counselling (Started), Dates, Allocation List, Admission procedure

PGIMER 2023 July Online 3rd Round Allocation Result has been released on 25th July 2023. The final Merit List for INI-SS Course has been released now.  Jan. Session AIIMS conducts Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research ( PGIMER ). The candidates who want to apply for this examination can apply as the application started on the 5th of September. 

The admission for this exam will be done in two sessions, one in January and the other in July. Candidates will apply for Postgraduate courses in MD/MS and DM/MCH. Admission for PGIMER would be offered through the scores of INI CET and INI SS.

PGIMER 2023 Important Dates 

Dates are the most awaited piece of news for the candidates. Dates help the candidates to plan and prepare for the exam easily. Ensure you read the date carefully and check the official website for any notifications.

PGIMER 2023 Application Form 

The application form is the first step a candidate has to go through to be eligible to give the exam. The application form is a critical step. All the candidates can fill out the application for PGIMER 2023 online on the official website. 

Ensure you complete the application form carefully so you do not make any mistakes. All the other details about PGIMER 2023 application form are given below. 

• The PGIMER 2023 application forms will be released on the official website. 
• The start date to submit the application form for INI CET, 1st session is 5th September 2022 and 1st week of March 2023. and for INI SS 2023 it is in last week of October 2022 and the 3rd week of March 2023. 
• The last date to submit the application form for INI CET is 25th September 2022 and the 3rd week of April 2023 and for INI SS is the 3rd week of November 2023 and the last week of March 2023. 
• It is a rule that one candidate can fill out one application in any case.  
• Upload all the documents that are asked in the application form without making any mistakes. 
• Read all the instructions on the application form very carefully and do as prescribed. 
• The candidates are to carefully fill in the information on the application form and not make any mistakes. 
• Details such as Name, Date of birth, etc to be filled in with concentration. 
• Write down your registration number, User ID, and Password. 
• After you have submitted the application form, take a printout of it. 
• No candidate will send a hard copy of the application form to the exam board or anyone else in any case. 

PGIMER 2023 Application Fee 

The application fee is very important for candidates who want to appear for the exam. After a candidate has filled out the application form they will have to pay the application fee online. It is mandatory for every candidate. 

Ensure you do not submit your application form without paying the fee. Because you will not get your exam to admit card and without that, you won’t be able to give the exam. Tue PGIMER 2023 application fee is given below. 

• For General/OBC/OCI/RA/FN/sponsored candidates, the fee is INR 2000/-. 
• For MD/MS and hospital administrative courses and SC/ST/EWS, the application fee is INR 1500/-. 
• For the candidates, in the DM/M.Ch course, the fee is INR 4250/- 
• PWBD candidates do not have to pay any application fee. 

Candidates can pay the application fee online and through various payment options. 

PGIMER 2023 Application From Correction

The application form for PGIMER 2023 would be released online on the official website. All the candidates can fill out the form there. If any candidate wants to make changes and edit their application form the authority will provide the editing facility. 

Only the registered candidates can do the changes in their application form; not every detail can be edited. The dates would for application form correction to be anointed and the candidates need to make changes on those dates only. 

PGIMER 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility criteria are another very important piece of information for candidates willing to appear for the exam. The candidates who will be appearing in the exam need to fulfill the eligibility criteria. 

It is mandatory for every candidate and if they do not fit the criteria then they would not be allowed to give the exam. So checking the eligibility criteria before you fill out the application form is advised.

For DM/M.Ch. Course 

• The Candidates should have a minimum experience of 3 years in Govt. Hospital in the relevant field or 5 years in general practice.
• The candidate should possess MD/ DNB degree for DM courses. MD/ MS degree for M.Ch courses or its equivalent degree recognized by NMC.
• The Candidates belonging to the category of  UR/ OBC/ EWS should obtain 55% marks (50% marks for the reserved category) in aggregate for all MBBS professional examinations

For MD/MS Hospital Administrative Course

• The candidates should have scored at least 55% marks and 50% marks for SC/ST & 45% marks for PWD candidates.
• The Candidates must have an MBBS degree from MCI recognized university.
• The candidates should have done rotating 1-year training/internships will be mandatory for the candidates.

PGIMER 2023 Exam Pattern 

The exam pattern contains all the important information related to the exam. The candidates who would be appearing for the exam should be reading the exam pattern to get an idea of the exam. Exam pattern contains information like exam duration, marking scheme, and more. 

The PGIMER 2023 exam pattern is given below. 

For INI CET 

• Mode: Online mode 
• Type of Question: MCQs
• Duration: 3 hours for MD/MS and 1.5 hours for MIDS exam. 
• Total Questions: 200 for MD/MS and 90 for MDS.

For INI SS

• Mode: online 
• Marks: 80 
• Duration: 90 minutes

PGIMER 2023 Admit Card 

The admit card for PGIMER 2023 would be accessible to those candidates who would have filled out the application form and also paid the application fee. If the candidate has not done these two things then they would not get the admit card. 

The admit card would be released online on the official website only. Candidates would need to login into the website to download the admit card. After downloading the candidates should also take a printout of it.

Along with the admit card the candidates need to have identity proof as well. And if the candidates do not have it card with them they would not be allowed to give the exam. 

PGIMER 2023 Result

The result for PGIMER 2023 would be released online. The result would be separately released for INI CET and INI SS. The dates for the rest of the ult release would be announced on the official website only. 

If the candidate wants to see their result they will have to log in with their details. After the result is released the merit list would be released. It would be based on the result and would be containing the names of the candidates who cleared the exam. 

And the names that will appear on the merit list would be invited for counseling sessions which is the last step before a candidate gets admission. 

PGIMER 2023 Cut Off

Cut-off marks are the minimum marks candidates have to score to pass the exam. It is set by the exam conducting authority. You can see the cut-off as per the category below. 

• General: 50%
• OBC: 45%
• SC/ST: 40%

The candidates would not get seats if they score more marks in session one and fewer marks in session two. So the candidates are advised to prepare accordingly. 

PGIMER 2023 Merit List 

Merit list the list which will contain the names of the candidates who would have cleared the exam. The merit list would be released online on the official website only. Two merit lists would be released one for INI CET and the other for INI SS. 

For AIIMS another special list would be prepared. It would be titled as AIIMs special list (AML). And for the other institutions, a common merit list would be released. It would be titled (CML). 

PGIMER 2023 Counselling 

The seat allotment in PGIMER 2023 counseling would be based on the marks that would be scored by the candidate in the written exam. There would be four rounds of PGIMER 2023 counseling. 

If a candidate does not get any seat in the first round they can appear in the second round, third round, or fourth round. All the candidates who would be appearing for counseling also need to pay counselling fees for different rounds. 

The candidates also need to carry some documents with them for the counselling process. These documents would be needed for verification. You can see some documents given below.
