Uttar Pradesh NEET UG 2024 3rd Round Seat Allotment has been Released on 18th October 2024. 3rd Round State Merit List was Released on 10th October 2024. 2nd Round Allotment Result was Released on 28th September 2024. 2nd Round Merit List has been Released on 20th September 2024. 2nd Round Online Registration has been Started on 14th September 2024. 1st Round Seat Allotment Result was Released on 30th August 2024. Uttar Pradesh NEET counselling 2024 will be organized by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP, under the State Government. The authority conducts counselling for 85% of quota seats in the state medical and dental colleges. The counselling is conducted to offer admissions in more than 6000 MBBS and BDS seats.

It will be conducted online, and the admissions to 15% of All India Quota MBBS seats will be organized by the Medical Counseling Committee only. The remaining 85% of seats will be admitted by UPDATE for NEET-qualified candidates only for the particular state and private colleges, Universities, and Institutes of Uttar Pradesh.

The counselling will be done to provide admission to state medical/dental colleges based on NEET-UG. The National Eligibility Entrance Test is the National Level Entrance Examination conducted by the NTA.

Eligibility Criteria for UP NEET Counseling 2024

The candidates who want admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh must appear in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The Admission for 85% state quota seats, various colleges/Universities of the state will conduct the counselling process for the allotment of seats.

• The candidate must have Indian citizenship.
• The minimum age limit of candidates must be 17 years as of 31^st December 2024. The maximum age should be 25 years for general category candidates and 30 years for SC/ST category candidates.
• The candidate should have the qualification of 12^th class with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB subjects.
• The reserved category candidates should have scored at least 40% marks, and physically disabled candidates should have 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates must be individually passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English in the qualifying examination.
• The candidate must have qualified for the NEET UG 2024.

Selection & Admission Procedure 

• The admission for 15% All India Seats Counseling will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
• The Admission for 85% of state quota seats will be made through the counselling conducted by various colleges/Universities of the state.
• The counselling will commence after the result declaration of NEET 2024.
• To participate in the Counseling process, the candidates must fill out the application form for counselling online.
• After filling out the application form, candidates will be called for the document verification process.
• After document verification, candidates must fill in the choices of colleges as per their preferences on the website.
• The seat allotment will be done based on the candidate’s score in NEET and Choice preferences.
• The candidates will get the seat allotment for admission based on the merit list.
• Candidates have to report to the allotted colleges after the counselling process.
• When reporting at the allotted college, a candidate must carry the relevant documents to confirm their admission and seats in the college.
