Educational qualifications:

• HSC exam in any stream must be completed from a recognized board or university by the applicant.

Mandatory subjects:

• One must have physics, chemistry, biology – botany, and zoology along with English as mandatory subjects in the HSC exams.

Qualifying marks:

• General category applicants must score more than 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Reserved category applicants must score a minimum of 40% marks in the HSC exams.

Recognized board:

• Applicants who want to get admission to the university must have cleared the HSC exam from a known board like AISSCE, CBSE, ICSE, SSCE, HSCE, or equivalent board.

Appearing applicants:

• Applicants who are appearing for the final exam of the HSC exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

Age criteria:

• Applicants must be above the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
• No maximum age limit was decided for the applicants by the authorities.

Nationality:

• Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Domicile certificate:

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal state.

West Bengal B.Sc. Nursing 2023 Exam Pattern

West Bengal B.Sc. Nursing 2023 Entrance Exam will be held in July 2023.

• Exam Mode: The entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based test).
• The type of Questions: MCQ will be asked in the question paper.
• Questions: 50 questions of 100 marks will be asked in the entrance exam.
• Marks: Two marks will be awarded to the applicant for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: Each incorrect answer will deduct ½ marks from the exam.
• Exam Language: The question paper of the entrance exam will be published in English and the Bengali language.
