HPCET Application Form 2020

The HPCET Application Form will be available from 2nd week of March 2020 to last week of April and those applicants are wishing to get admission in the various undergraduate engineering programs from the various affiliated colleges of Himachal Pradesh Technical University, they can fill the Application Form by following the procedure provided below.

  • First of all, candidates need to go on the official webpage of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
  • The applicants should have to register themselves by submitting the required details such as Name, Password, DOB, Email and mobile number.
  • Candidates will get the application form after submitting the login details such as username and password provided due to registration.
  • The Application Form should be filled with correct and complete details such as personal details, education details, and correspondence address, etc.
  • After filling all the details, applicants have to submit it and after that, they need to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per format.
  • Candidates have to confirm all the details before submission and they have to make the payment of application fee and submit it.

Candidates can make the payment of application fee either through E-challan or through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card. The application fee of all the categories mentioned below.

HPCET Eligibility Criteria 2020

All the applicants must have to check their Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form. It is mandatory for all the candidates to check the eligibility before applying and the Ineligible candidates will not be able to get admission in their aspiring programs. The Eligibility Criteria details mentioned below.

  • The applicants must be qualified in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board/university with Mathematics and Physics and compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects to be selected for admission.
  • Applicants must have to score minimum 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) exam while candidates belonging to the reserved category should have secured minimum 40% marks.
  • Candidates with qualified marks in JEE Main examination is no need to apply in this examination.

HPCET Exam Pattern

Candidates should have to prefer the Exam Pattern for the better preparation of examination and through the exam pattern; candidates can understand the structure of question paper. Exam pattern will have details such as types of questions asked, mode of exam, marking scheme and more.

HPCET 2020 Syllabus

HPCET Admit Card 2020

The HPCET Admit Card will provide to the candidates in the 2nd week of May 2020 and those candidates have successfully submitted their application form, they can download the admit card through online mode by visiting on the official website. Admit Card is the necessary documents, which should carry by the candidates in the examination hall.

HPCET Result 2020

In the last week of May, the HPCET Result will declare and those candidates have given the HPCET examination, they can check their result through using the login details. The details should be entered is roll number and name of the candidates. As per the marks scored in an examination, applicants will be shortlisted in the merit list.

HPCET Counseling 2020

From the 4th week of June 2020 to the last week of July 2020, the Counseling Procedure will be conducted through Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Those candidates are shortlisted in the merit list, they will be called out for the counseling procedure on the basis of their marks scored in HPCET or JEE examination.

At the counseling center, candidates have to carry the required documents for verification and the seat allotment will be done as per the seat availability and document verification in the various engineering colleges of Himachal Pradesh.

Documents to Carry for Verification

Candidates should have to carry the required documents at the counseling center.

  • Certificates of class XII and class X.
  • Class XII and X mark sheets issued by the board/university.
  • Date of birth certificate or matriculation/higher secondary/Indian school certificates showing the date of birth.
  • JEE Main/HPCET scorecard.
  • Character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
  • Bonafide/domicile certificate issued by the concerned authority.
  • Reserved category certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
  • Physically challenged certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
  • Income certificate issued by the competent authority, if applied under the tuition fee waiver scheme.
  • An affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme.
  • Kashmiri migrants and domicile certificate issued by the competent authority, if applied under supernumerary Kashmiri migrant quota.
