NEET PG 2024 Counselling Registration will be started on 5th August 2024. It is managed by the National Council of Education (NBE). NEET PG is an eligibility and classification exam for admission to multiple MD / MS and PG courses. This is a one-stop access exam for PG courses to gain admission to the country’s government, private and prestigious universities.

The updated timetable indicates that the outcomes of the postgraduate entrance test will be announced on July 15, 2024, followed by the commencement of counselling on August 5 and its conclusion on October 15, 2024. The start of the fresh academic session is scheduled for September 16, with the deadline for enrollment being October 21, 2024.

The NEET PG 2024 Counseling Process comprises two primary types: Centralized Counseling and State Counseling. Both processes are designed to streamline the allocation of seats in postgraduate medical courses, considering candidates’ NEET PG scores and their stated preferences. NEET PG 2024 1st Round Counselling Registration will be started on 5th August 2024. NEET PG Counselling 2024 will be realized as a centralized board for all states, UTs, and institutions. The MCC organises the council throughout India for all 50% quota seats in India. Admissions will only be made by all admission requirements followed by counselling.

It is essential to register on the site to participate in the counselling process. Each State / UT / Institution will generate the list of merits for admission into 50% of state quota quotas. The states / UTs concerned will organize advice for admission to the state tax offices.

NEET PG Counselling Procedure

The counselling procedure will be Comprised of the following steps:

Step 1: Counselling Registration

• Visit the official website link (Link is given above).
• Click on the “New Registration” link.
• Register yourself for counselling.
• Candidates should save the password they created at the registration time.
• Pay the counselling fee, i.e., Rs. 1000 (For AQI /Central University UR candidates) & Rs. 500 (For SC/ST/OBC/PH) and Rs. 5000/- (For Deemed University candidates).

Candidates also have to pay the tuition fee, which is refunded if no seats are allotted to the candidates. The tuition fees are:

• For AQI/Central University UR candidates: Rs. 25000/-.
• For SC/ST/OBC/PH: Rs. 10,000/-.
• For Deemed: Rs 2,00,000/-.

Step 2: Choice Filling & Locking Choices

• After online registration (registration is compulsory to participate in the online allotment process), candidates must fill in the choice of subjects and Institutions/colleges in order of preference.
• Once the choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking it.
• During the choice locking period, it is necessary to lock the choices to get a print of your submitted choices.
• If the candidate does not lock the choice submitted by them, their submitted choices will be automatically locked.
• Take a print of the filled choices for future use.
• You can fill in as many choices as per your preferences.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

• After choice filling, the seat allotment process will take place.
• The seats will be allotted to the candidates by filled choices, availability of seats, category, etc.

Step 4: Reporting

• Candidates allotted seats will be required to join the allotted college/course within the stipulated time.
• After the last date, no admission will be allowed.

State Quota Merit List

Posts in the state quota or private universities will be covered according to the result of NEET PG. When preparing the merit list of the state tax, many factors will be considered, such as category, sub-category, final eligibility, status category rank, and others. Reserve policies.

The final merit list will be generated on the website based on the list of merits from all states / UT/institutions. There is no reservation policy to offer income. However, places will be reserved for specific categories.
