JEE Main 2023 Counselling (Started)- Get JoSAA Schedule Here

JEE Main 2023 3rd Round Seat Allocation Result has been Released on 12th July 2023. Online Counseling Registration & Choice Filling has been started on 19th June 2023. The Joint Entrance Exam is conducted in two steps under the NTA’s (National Testing Agency) authority. The counselling is organized online and offline. The aspirants will appear for JEE 2023 Counselling as per rank secured in JEE Main 2023 merit list.

The counselling for JEE Main 2023 is to be generated through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). It is going to be conducted online.

The JEE Main counselling is done for the students who did not perform well in the exam.

The counselling is done in various steps: –

Online Registration

• The aspirants are required to go to JEE Main 2023 Counselling and enlist JEE Main 2023 Roll No and Password.
• Now check the specifications mutinously, hit the I agree to option, and provide the information.
• Now click on Declaration and then on Submit.
• Now you must go through the details you provided and then hit the Confirmation Registration option.

Choice Filling and Choice Locking

• The aspirants needed to log in to the account and choose the Available option and then college, the course they want to opt for
• It is required to consider the courses’ names carefully, as once the choices have been filled; you can’t make any changes.
• Now lock the preferences provided by you
• The choice locking is done after each counselling session.

Seat Allotment and Document Verification

• The seat distribution is organized per AIR, reservation norms, choices filled, and vacancies.
• There will be many counselling sessions and seat distribution
• Once the seat is provided, the students will have to inform the RC
• The aspirants will receive an email regarding seat distribution some days after the choice locking
• It will require getting all documents verified by the exam body. After that, the fee is submitted when the seat is confirmed.
• You need to download the seat distribution letter

Payment of Fees

The aspirants must pay the e-Challan, SBI or Net Banking fee to participate in the seat distribution process. They must get the documents confirmed at the centre to get a seat. After the fee payment, the aspirants will receive a provisional admission letter.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute

The aspirants will have to inform the exam officials at the distributed centre along with the required documents and certificates, and those who have been unable to produce the necessary documents before the exam department, then the seat will be cancelled and given to some other documents. If the students wish to withdraw their seat,, they must inform the reporting centre before the final seat distribution process. After the withdrawal of the seat, the students will receive a refund.

The aspirants will have to present during counselling with a soft copy of documents and self-attached copies at the reporting centre to authenticate documents.

• Three passport-size photographs (uploaded during registration).
• Provisional seat allotment letter.
• Proof of seat acceptance fee payment.
• Photo identity card.
• JEE Main 2023 Admit Card.
• JEE Main 2023 Score Card.
• Date of birth proof (10th class mark sheet).
• Class XII Mark sheet.
• Undertaking by the candidate.
• Medical certificate.
• Category certificate (if applicable).
• PwD certificate (if applicable).
• OCI certificate of PIO card (if applicable).
• Registration-cum-locked choices for seat allotment.
