The National Entrance Screening Test is organised by the National Institute of Science Education and Research. This is a National Level exam which is held once every year for 5-year education programs.
NEST 2023 exam would be an online exam for the applicants willing to get admission in the courses in Biology, Mathematical, Chemical and Physical sciences. The courses for this exam are only available at the National Institute of Science Education and Research and UM-DAE CEBS or The University of Mumbai.

Dates are one of the most anticipated notifications about any exam. The moment the exam dates are announced students get the time to plan and prepare for the exam. The application form for NEST 2023 would be available from February 2023 and the other dates are given in the table below:

NEST 2023 Application Form
Application forms are your first steps toward the examination. It is the most crucial step as one mistake can make your application form cancelled. So it is advised to fill in the correct information and documents as prescribed.
It is also advised to check the eligibility criteria before you fill out the application form so that your form is not cancelled. The application form for NEST 2023 will be released from February 2023 on the official website only.

- The application form will be available on the official website only.
- The start date to submit the application form online is from February 2023.
- The last date to submit the application form will be in July 2023.
- An applicant is not allowed to fill out more than one application form.
- Candidates have to upload all your mentioned documents appropriately.
- Fill in your information very carefully.
- Fill in your details such as Name, Date of birth, and Address very carefully to avoid application form cancellations.
- Upload all your documents which are required very carefully and they should be in the format prescribed.
- Do not forget to note down your registration number, User ID, and Password.
- Candidates should take the printout of the application form after completion for further use.
- Candidates will not have to send any hard copies.
NEST 2023 Application Fees
The application fee is the amount that is fixed by the conducting authority. After you fill out your application form you will have to pay some amount as an application fee for the NEST 2023 exam.

NEST 2023 Application Form Correction
NEST 2023 application form would be made available on the online website only. If the candidates want to make changes or edit their form the authority would provide the facility of a correction window.
The candidates would be asked to give a valid Email ID and Mobile number and the conducting body would contact those candidates for further changes.
NEST 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria are set by the official authority for all the applicants who are willing to apply for the exam. Each candidate has to follow the eligibility criteria and if they fail to do so their application form would be cancelled.

Nationality
The applicants must be Indian.
Age Limit
- Candidates born after August 2000 can also apply for NEST 2023 but they must belong to the category of General or OBC.
- There is also an age relaxation of 5 years for PWD/SC/ST category applicants.
Education Qualification
The applying candidates must have passed the 12th standard from any of the recognized board examinations in 2023-2024.
Minimum Marks
- The minimum marks obtained by the candidate should be 60%.
- The candidates of SC/ST/PWD can score at least 55% in aggregate in the 12th standard or any other equivalent exam.
Appearing
Those candidates who are appearing can also apply for the examination.
NEST 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern has the most useful information about the exam. All the candidates preparing for the NEST 2023 exam should take a look carefully at the exam pattern to know all the information related to the exam. The exam pattern for NEST 2023 is given below:-

NEST 2023 Admit Card
After filling out the application form and paying the application fees you will receive your admit card. Admit cards will only be available to those candidates who have successfully filled out their application form.
The admit card for NEST 2023 would be available from April 2023. The application form would only be released on the official website. The candidates would have to fill in the details to download their admit cards.
Admit cards are the most important document the candidates have to carry with them to the examination hall. If the candidates fail to bring the admit card then they would not be allowed to appear for the exam
NEST 2023 Answer Key
The NEST 2023 Answer key would be mailed by NISER to the candidates who will give the exam. The answer key would not be released on the official website. The NEST 2023 Answer key would be emailed to candidates in June 2023.
The answer key would help the candidates to check their answers with answers key and estimate their results. The authority would also provide the candidates with a facility where they can raise objections against the answer key.
For objecting to the NEST 2023 answer key the candidates would have to fill in their NEST roll number and question ID. The Final Answer key would only be released after all the objections are cleared.
NEST 2023 Result
Results for NEST 2023 would be released some days after the exam is conducted. The result for NEST 2023 would be released in July 2023. The candidates can see the result only on the official website.
The applicants who would be able to see their results should apply for the next level of the exam before the due date. The candidates who would have their names on the result list would also be eligible for various scholarships and rewards.
The candidates who would score excellent would be given the NEST exam pass certificate. The result should be kept safe till the admissions of the applicants are successfully done; it is required at the time of counselling.
NEST Counselling
The selected candidates who score excellent would be eligible for the counselling round. The counselling for NEET 2023 would be done online mode on the official website only.
All the candidates who will be shortlisted after the result declaration would be given seats in different courses from different colleges and universities. NEST 2023 would not conduct any joint counselling.
The candidates are also needed to bring some documents for verification at the counselling session. The documents required for NEST 2023 counselling are given below:-
