The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has four participating campuses: Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati. A higher score is required for admission to VIT Vellore and Chennai campuses than for admission to VIT Bhopal and VIT Amaravati campuses. For example, the closing rank for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at VIT Vellore in 2023 was 125. This means only the candidates who scored the top 125 marks in VITEEE were eligible for admission to CSE at VIT Vellore.
