GATE 2020 Score Card has been released on 19th March 2020. The IIT organizes the GATE 2020 exam by rotation. For the 2020 session, you drive through IIT, Delhi. Graduate Engineering Ability Test (GATE) is conducted for applicants to research in ME / M.Tech and other programs.

The GATE score helps applicants to be admitted to M.Tech / ME and other programs in various institutions. Candidates can also use the GATE Scorecard for PSU hiring. How to download the Score Card

Candidates can go through the following procedure to download the GATE Scorecard:

  • Visit the official website link. (link will be given above).
  • A new page will be opened on the screen.
  • Enter all the required details such as Enrollment ID/Email Address, Password & Security Code (Captcha).
  • After filling the details, click on the “submit” button.
  • The scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
  • Save the scorecard and take the printout of it.
  • Candidate must secure the printout of the GATE Scorecard for further use.

Calculation of GATE Score

Candidates can calculate GATE score by using this formula:

GATE Score=Sq + (St–Sq) (M–Mq) / (M¯t–Mq)

In the above formula:

M=marks secured by the candidate (It is actual marks for single session papers and normalized marks for multi-session papers)

Mq=qualifying marks for general category candidates in the paper.

M¯t=Average marks of the top 0.1% or top 10 (whichever is larger) of the candidates who appeared in the paper (in case of multi-session papers including all sessions)

Sq=350, score assigned to Mq

St=900, score assigned to M¯t
