CAT 2023/24 Application Correction has been Started on 25th September 2023. Application Form Last Date has been Extended till 21st September 2023. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national examination by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) annually by rotation. Many IIM institutions believe that the CAT scorecard allows admission to MBA courses.

The CAT (Common Admission Test) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore. This exam provides admission to Postgraduate Management programs offered by the IIMs or top B-schools of India.

Candidates wishing to get admission to prestigious MBA institutions must apply online for the CAT exam. Candidates can check details about CAT application form 2023 from here:

• Candidates will be allowed to register for CAT 2023 through online mode only.
• The CAT 2023 Registration Process was started on 2nd August 2023, and the Last Date for Registration is 21st September 2023.
• Candidates must upload scanned images of the photograph, signature, and other documents in the application form.
• After filling in all the details and form submission, candidates can take the printout of the filled-in application for further use.
• Candidates must upload the photograph, signature, and category certificate (If belongs to NC-OBC/SC/ST/PWD category) at the time of registration.
• Candidates are advised to take the printout of the application form.

Application Fee:

• The application fee is Rs.950/- for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates.
• The application fee is Rs.1900/- for all other categories of candidates.
• The fee can be remitted through credit cards (Visa/Master/Amex/Diners Club), debit cards (Visa/Master/Rupay), net banking, and Cash Cards & Wallets.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the eligibility criteria before applying for CAT 2023:

• Qualifying Exam: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in any discipline.
• Minimum Marks: Aspirants must score at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates).
• Appearing Candidates: Applicants appearing in the final year examination can also apply.
• CS/CA/ICWA candidates are also eligible to apply.

CAT 2023 Registration Dates

Candidates are required to apply online for CAT Registration 2023. The application procedure for filling the application form is mentioned here:

• Visit the official link.
• Register yourself by entering your email ID and mobile number.
• After completion of the registration process, the User ID and password will be generated. It will be sent to the candidate’s mail ID and registered mobile number.
• Login to your account using a system-generated User ID and password.
• The application involves personal details, academics, work experience, programs, and payment.
• Candidates must upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, category & PwD certificate in the prescribed format.
• Pay the requisite application fee through online mode.
• Now, click on the ‘Go to Application Form’ link.
• Fill in correct details such as personal details, academics, work experience, select program, interview city, and exam centre city.
• Upload the scanned image of the photograph (30 mm X 45 mm, file size 80 KB) and signature (80 mm X 35 mm, of file size 80 KB).
• Now click on the ‘Payment’ tab.
• Select the payment option, fill in the details, and pay the requisite fee.
• After that, click on the ‘Submit and Pay’ button.
• The candidate will receive a confirmation mail after the successful completion of payment.
• Candidates should take the printout of the filled-in application form by login into the CAT website as an ‘Existing User’.

CAT 2023 Exam Pattern

• The exam will be lasting 2 hours, 50 minutes.
• The exam will have questions on four subjects: data interpretation, verbal ability, logical reasoning, and quantitative ability.
• The students will appear for the exam online.
• Those attempting the correct answer will be given one answer, and one mark will be removed for those giving the wrong answers.
• The questions will only be objective, so answering particular questions will not take time. The questions can be answered with a single tick. But it would be best if you were careful while doing so. Any mistake will result in a deduction of marks.
