Common Admission Test or generally branded as CAT is a national-level management entrance test directed by IIMs. More than two lakh contenders write the CAT exam annually for admission to 20 IIMs and 100 other B-schools in India. The exam centers of CAT 2023 will be located in around 147 cities.
Almost every state of the country has a CAT exam center. The list of CAT exam centres has been declared together with the official notification of CAT in July. IIM Calcutta has added two new States where CAT exam centers will be situated – Mizoram and Nagaland.
Contenders would need to select four cities where they can appear for CAT when filling out the application form. It is guided that contenders choose the exam centers on their suitability.

The table below lists the cities in each country’s state where the CAT 2023 exam centre will be located. IIMs have added two new exam centers and eliminated a few additions.

How to Select CAT Exam Centers 2023?
Contenders would be able to choose the exam centers when filling out the application form for CAT 2023. Contenders can accept as many as four cities from the drop-down menu. CAT authorities will assign the exam center because of the contender’s preferences.

Still, a nearby centre will be chosen if the selected exam center is not available. The final CAT exam center 2023 will be inferred to the contenders through CAT Admit Card, issued in October.
