The Hon’ble High Court of Bombay Nagpur Bench has again kept the NEET 2018 Counselling in abeyance as per the intervene of Hon’ble Supreme Court which has overturned the decision of Madras High Court.

State MBBS/BDS Counselling 2018


For a state 85% quota and other seats under state jurisdiction, applicants can apply to their state of origin and the authorities establish a merit list in accordance with state standards. worried 85% of the state council for some states has started now. The relevant public consultation authority also provides advice for private medical colleges. 85% of the State Board of Contributions is directed to admission to the state medical and dental faculties. The details and the counseling schedule are available on the websites of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, State Section of Medical Education. Candidates are advised to keep in contact with relevant authorities and advisory institutions to obtain advice from the state.

NEET Counseling Procedure 2018


Online Registration: by filling the essential details you can register yourself as an applicant in NEET Counselling. The candidate will not be allowed to take a part in NEET Counselling without registration.

The applicant will get a unique USER ID & PASSWORD in registered email Id & mobile number after registration. For the further procedure, the applicant has to register with the given user id & password.

Choice filling and locking: As per the candidate preference, they have to choose the medical/dental courses and colleges. The applicant has to click on “save” button and lock their choices after final selection. Also, it is necessary to secure choice.

Result declaration: After the process of counseling the message or email related to the allotted course and colleges will be sent to the applicant after a few days of counseling.

Reporting to the allotted college: The applicant has to go to the allotted college to confirm seat by paying the course’s fee. If the claimant does not go to the allotted college, then the position will be given to the other applicant.

The MBBS/BDS seats will be filled through NEET UG all over the country. The seats will be filled in the following categories:

  • All India Quota Seats.
  • State Government Quota Seats.
  • Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities.
  • State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical/ Dental Colleges or any Private University.
  • Central Pool Quota Seats.

NEET Counselling 2018: 


The counseling of NEET 2018 for 15% all India Quota seats will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC of the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), in the month of June 2018.

The NEET 2018 Counselling will be conducted in online mode for all those candidates who will qualify for admissions under all India quota seats in government medical and dental colleges across India.

The counseling NEET 2018 will be conducted for allotment of around 3850 MBBS and BDS seats only. In order to participate in NEET Counselling 2018, qualified candidates will have to first register themselves for the counseling process during the stipulated period announce, schedule and allotment result etc.

CBSE will be released NEET 2018 admit card in the month of April in online mode. In order to download the admit card of NEET 2018, candidates have to enter their registration number, date of birth and security pin.

NEET Admit Card 2018

The admit card of NEET 2018 contains details like candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, registration number, caste category, sub-category, date of birth, photograph, signature, language of question paper chosen, examination Centre address, examination Centre code and instructions to be followed during the examination.

The answer key will be released within a week of examination. NEET Answer Key will be published via online mode through the website. Candidates may have an opportunity for online challenge against the answer key. Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- per answer challenged. The payment will be refunded in case of challenge is accepted by the Board.

NEET Exam Centre 2018

The exam conducting authority, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conducted NEET 2018 exam in a total of 104 cities across the country. Earlier, only 80 examination cities were selected, but, after substantial increase in NEET aspirants, CBSE also added 24 new cities to the existing list.

This must be noted that exam cities will be allotted through computers and there will not be any human involvement.

Candidates have to bring their original documents along with attested photocopies of documents.
