NID, widely known as the National Institute of Design Entrance Exam, originated for those students opting for B.Des, GDPD, and M.Des. The students will generate the answer keys for Mains and Prelims. The students can get into these courses if they have good and laudable marks on the Design Aptitude Test. The result of this test can be from the official site. The NID is associated with the Institute of Association of Indian Universities.
It provides the Graduate Diploma Programmes in Design which is also called GDPD. The NID has been conducting the Design Aptitude Test for admission to Bachelor of Design and Master of Design. The DAT Prelims include Knowledge, Analysis, Visualization, Comprehension, and Creativity. The exam will have an hour’s duration with 150 questions. There is no mention of negative marking, and the exam will be held in written form.
The questions will be designed in English, so there will not be any problem for students to interpret the questions. The question paper will be comprised of sections one and section 2. The DAT Prelims test will be conducted at several places, namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Kurukshetra, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Panjim, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijaywada.

NID conducts an occasion per year for construction port called Placement Week. The NID graduates can contact recruiters and represent their skills, and after that, interviews will be taken, and they will be provided placement. The NID Placement Office allows them to intercommunicate with the industries/NGOs/ Institutes, etc.
