This exam comes under the Council of Architecture that which you can appear for in your own country, India. The degree you acquire from the mentioned universities is valid.

The Architectural Council (COA) is responsible for administering the full admission procedure for NATA 2023. The Authority is conducting this national examination for admission to architectural programs available in many institutes located throughout the country.

The NATA Exam Syllabus Contains Two Parts

• Aesthetic Sensitivity Test
• Drawing Test

There are nine topics in Mathematics including Algebra, Logarithms, Matrices, Trigonometry, Coordinate geometry, 3-Dimensional coordinate Geometry, Theory of calculus, Permutation and Combination, and Statistics and Probability.

• Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil,
• Architectural Awareness,

• Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities and color.

Aesthetic Sensitivity

• Aesthetic, Sensitivity and Drawing Skills,
• Analytical reasoning Mental ability,
• Elements of Design: Lines, Form, Mass, Solid, etc,
• Generation of plan, elevations, and 3D views of objects.
• Creating two dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms,

Scale and proportion

Freehand sketching of objects and Activities commonly seen in the rural or urban/suburban context such as Furniture, Machine, landscape, Buildings, Kitchens, Playground, Markets, Railway Platform, Bus Stop, Exhibitions, etc, Enlargement & Reduction of Drawings, Mirror image, etc.

Drawing Test

Comprehending the subject, geometric parts, shapes how to form structure and elements is necessary for getting through the exam in the best possible way The designation of drawings are as follows

The geometrical and abstract. Form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, subtraction, rotation, surfaces, and volumes. Generating plan, elevation, and 3D views of objects. Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shapes and forms.

Perspective drawing, Sketching of urbanscape and landscape, Common day-to-day life objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.

NATA 2023 Exam Pattern in Details

NATA 2023 consists of 2 papers, namely Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 deals with questions from General Aptitude and Mathematics while Paper-2 is a Drawing test.

Candidates will be awarded 2 marks for every correct answer and there is no negative marking

The complete exam will be of three hours.

Candidates will have to select the correct answer by coloring the bubble in the OMR sheet by using a black and blue pen.
