UPTET Application Form 2023

• Upper Age Limit – OBC / SC / ST Category applicants: The applicants who belong to the OBC category must be below 38 years of age to apply for the entrance exam in Paris the applicants who belong to the SC and ST category must be not more than 40 years at the time of applying for the entrance exam.
• Upper Age Limit – PH Category applicants: The physically handicapped applicants were to be more than 45 years of age to apply for the entrance exam.
• Relaxation: The applicants who belong to the reserved category have got and relaxation in the upper age limit as per the norms prescribed by the government.
• Domicile: The applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh state at the time of admission.
• Educational Qualification
• For Primary teachers: The applicant’s want to apply for the primary teachers must have completed a bachelor’s degree and two years of diploma in education (D. Ed) from NCTE or Rehabilitation Council of India. The applicants who have completed a bachelor’s degree along with two years of BTC, CT (nursery) / nursery teachers training are also eligible to apply. The applicants who have completed a bachelor’s degree and with BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh or have completed a diploma in teaching from Aligarh Muslim University or Moallim – E – Urdu degree are eligible to apply.
• For Upper Primary Teachers: The applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree or graduation along with BTC from National Council for teacher’s education (NCTE) affiliated institution or university to apply for the entrance exam. However, the applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree along with B.Ed / B.Ed special education from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam. Those applicants who have completed their Higher Secondary Education and a four years’ degree of BA / BSc Ed. / BA Ed from an NCTE or UGC recognized institution are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
• Minimum Marks– General Category applicants: The applicants who belong to the general category must have secured not less than 50% marks in the total qualifying exam.
• Minimum Marks – Reserved Category applicants: The applicants who belong to the reserved category must have secured at least 45% marks or more in the qualifying exam.

UP TET 2023 Exam Pattern
