UPTETThe Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test is shortly known as UPTET and this test is managed by the Pareeksha Niyamak Pradhikari, Uttar Pradesh to provide job to the applicants in the field of teaching and they can become the teacher of primary (Class I to Class V) as well as secondary school (Class VI to Class VII) in the Uttar Pradesh based on their marks scored in UPTET examination.

UPTET 2022 Exam Pattern

The UPTET Exam Pattern for Paper I and Paper II will provide to the candidates on the official website of Pareeksha Niyamak Pradhikari, Uttar Pradesh. The duration of both the papers will be 2 hours 30 minutes each.

The level of questions will be of primary and upper primary levels. With the help of the Exam Pattern, candidates will be able to know the structure of the question paper. the Exam Pattern details have mentioned below.

UPTET Paper 1:

  • Number of Questions – 30 questions in each section.
  • Nature of Questions – Objective type (MCQs). Each question will have four choices out of which only one choice will be a correct one.
  • Exam Mode – Offline (PBT)
  • Exam Medium – The question papers at all exam centers will be in English and Hindi only. 
  • Marking Scheme – Each question carries 1 mark each.
  • Negative Marking – No provision of negative marking.
  • No. of Sections – 5 sections viz.
