How to Fill FMGE 2019 Application Form, Step By Step Guide Available Here

FMGE 2019 Application Form has been Released on 16th Oct 2018 (For December Session). FMGE 2019 Exam Dates have been Released, Exam will be Conducted on 14th December 2018. FMGE is referred to as a Foreign Medical Graduate Screening Exam, and it is a national level entrance exam. FMGE 2019 exam is conducted two times in one year, i.e., in June and December.

This exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBA). This exam allows the Indian nationals with foreign medical qualifications to practice in India.

Candidates will get a provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.

Application Fee:

FMGE 2019 Application form fees can be paid through online mode. Candidates have to pay application form fees compulsorily. Keep printed copies of filled application form for further use.

  • The application fee for FMGE will be Rs. 5500/-.
  • Candidates can submit the application fee through credit card/debit card/internet banking.
  • The application fee will not be transferred or refundable under any circumstances.

Important Instruction for Application Filling Process

  • The online submission of application form for FMGE is available on nbe.edu.in from 16th October – 6th November 2018.
  • Online submission of application form begins on 16th October 2018 from 07:00 PM onwards. The last date for submission of application form is 6th November 2018 (11:55 PM)

7.3 Candidate may note that there is no option for submitting the form other than the online mode, offline applications or printed copies will not be accepted.

  • Candidates are advised to go through the instructions given before proceeding to fill up the online application.

(a) At the end online submission of application form, the candidate will get a computer generated acknowledgment. This acknowledgment shall also be sent at the registered e-mail ID of the candidate. All fields marked * in the online application form are mandatory.

  • Applications of the candidates producing false or fabricated information will not be considered and the candidates may be further debarred from appearing in any future examinations
  • Candidates must preserve a hard copy of application form for future reference.

Information such as personal details, educational qualification etc. provided by the candidates in the online application form shall be treated as correct and NBE will not entertain, under any circumstances, any request for change in the information provided by the candidates. Candidates have the option of changing the information entered in the application form till the last date of online submission of application form. NBE disclaims any liability that may arise to candidate(s) due to incorrect information provided by the candidate during online submission application form. NBE does not edit /modify/alter any information entered by the candidates at the time of online submission of application form under any circumstances.

Candidates may note that the following fields of the application form are non- editable:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Mobile
  • Email address
  • Testing City
  • Photograph
  • Signature

The candidate has to submit to NBE the following self attested scanned documents along with the copy of acknowledgment e-mail received after successful online submission of application form:

  • Copy of MBBS Pass (in English/Hindi)
  • Copy of MBBS Pass certified by the Embassy /Apostiled
  • Copy of Address Proof (PAN Card /Voter ID /Passport /Driving License/Aadhar Card)
  • Two Photographs (as per Para 5.6)

Annexure B

  • Copy of Date of Birth Proof (Certificate of Matriculation)
  • Copy of Passport of the applicant (Front Page & Last Page – Personal Information)
  • Copy of 10+2 passing certificate
  • Copy of 10+2 mark sheet
  • Copy of internship certificate (if done abroad)
  • Copy of eligibility certificate issued by Medical Council of India (if applicable)
  • Copy of fail certificate /result for Ex-candidates.
  • Equivalence Certificate: From Association of Indian Universities (for candidates who have done 10+2 abroad)

Candidates are required to submit the aforementioned self attested scanned documents at [email protected] latest by 15th November 2018.

Candidates who fail to submit the documents to NBE as indicated herein above and /or do not fulfill the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear in the screening test.

Candidates who have appeared in Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in the past and have been declared unsuccessful and have already submitted their scanned documents to NBE at e-mail ID :[email protected] are not required to submit their scanned documents again. Such a candidate will be required to mention his/her roll no. issued in the last FMGE in which he/she has appeared.

Steps in Online Submission of Application Form:

The following sequence shall be observed while filing the online application form:

  1. Fill the registration form for obtaining User ID and Password.
  2. User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email ID.
  3. Fill the application form and Upload your photograph & signature.
  4. Choose your Test City.
  5. Submission of fees.
  6. Take a print out of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it.
