Punjab B.Ed 2023 Application Form will be Releasing Soon. Punjab University (PU) Chandigarh conducts an Entrance Exam for Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) to get admission in Colleges in the state of Punjab for the 2 years course. PU B.Ed consists of MCQ type which is of 150 marks.

Paper consists of 150 marks which are common for all the candidates & it includes questions from Mental Ability, GK, Teacher Aptitude, General Awareness, Language Proficiency (English, Hindi, Punjabi) Eligible & Interested Candidates are requested to apply only after reading all the guidelines mentioned on the official website.

This is a Common Entrance Test (CET) to choose the applicants for admission into B. Ed (2 years) Regular courses meant for the academic year 2023. The Applicants who wish to opt for the program must fill-up the Application Form before the last date.

PU B.Ed 2023 Application Form

Before applying for PU, B.Ed candidates are requested to go through detailed notification & eligibility mentioned on the official website.

• Candidates should fill in their personal & academic information carefully to apply for the exam.
• Candidates must upload their relevant documents through scanned copies only.
• Candidates are advised to take a print out of the application form for future reference.
• While filing the application form, applicants need to enter some necessary details in the application form for instance personal detail, educational details, course-related details, contact and parent’s details, and further details.
• Entrants also need to offer the scanned images of photograph and signature in the given size and format mention on the authorized website of the university.

Application Fee

Candidates can pay the application fee through offline mode.

• The candidate has to pay the fee through E-challan at any SBI Branch.
• Application Fee once paid is Non-Refundable.
• Payment of application fee is a vital part of the application procedure consequently applicants are notified to pay the application fee before the due date.

PU B.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification

Candidates with at least 50% Marks either in Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in Science/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce/Home Science/ BBA/ BCA/ BA.LLB/ B.Com.LLB, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

• Candidates passed in B.E/B. Tech with a specialization in Science & Maths with 55% marks or any other qualification is also eligible for admission.
• Candidates with the reserved category will get a relaxation of 5%.
• The relaxation is as per the rules of Govt. of Punjab.
• Candidate must have studied the major subject of the subject combination for at least two years at the Bachelor’s level/Master’s level. Honors students shall opt for the major subject in which they have obtained Honors, the minor subject should have been studied at least for one year.
• Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination and whose results have not been declared may be provisionally allowed to apply for Common Entrance Test at their own risk and responsibility but they shall become eligible for counseling only after they have produced the evidence of having satisfied the above-said conditions on the date of counseling.

The Exam Pattern has been Provided Below.

• No of Questions: The total number of questions in the exam paper is 120.
• Type of Questions: The question paper will be done in MCQ’s type of format.
• Total Marks: The Question paper shall contain 120 Marks.
• Marking Scheme: Each Question carries 1 mark for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: There is negative marking for the wrong answer i.e., 25%.

PU B.Ed 2023 Admit Card

Candidates can download the PU B.Ed admit card from the official website. PU B.Ed Joint Entrance Exam 2023 Admit card has been available on 18th July 2023. No Physical Admit Card will be sent to students through post Candidates must not forget their Admit card on the day of the exam, otherwise, he/she shall not be allowed to seat in the exam

The admit card or hall ticket will be made available in an online manner by the official authorities. The admit card is an important paper that comprises all the required examination details and candidates’ other vital information like contenders name, Exam time, Exam date, contenders date of birth and exam center, etc.

Hopefuls are requested to go to the official website of the university to get the admit card. Applicants also need to take some copies of the admit card and keep them carefully. It is an important document that is brought during the exam.

PU B.Ed  2023 Exam Result

PU B.Ed Result will be declared on the official website. Candidate can view their result by providing their registration no on the official portal. Through online means, only the results will be made obtainable for the candidates.

The Result of Punjab B.Ed admissions will be publicized in the Last Week of August. After the result declaration, the criteria to select the students will be based on the score taken in the qualifying examination and score achieved in the Entrance Test.

After the Result, Rank List is prepared and, on the rank, attained, Students get admissions into University. Getting on the official website of the university, officials will announce the results. Candidates need to open the official website of the university with the roll number and date of birth.

They are required to use particulars to check the results. It is well-versed to download the result and get a copy of the same. On the results, officials will grant admission to the aspirants.

PU B.Ed 2023 Merit List

The concerned officials will come up with the admission to the applicants on account of the merit list. Administrators will issue the merit list on the official website of the university for all the candidates.

PU B.Ed 2023 Counseling

PU B.Ed 2023 1st Counselling will be held on the 2nd week of July 2023. Candidates who successfully clear the Entrance exam will be eligible for counseling. Counseling will be based on marks scored in PU B.Ed Entrance Exam. Candidates have to report as soon as possible to take into B.Ed course after the allotment of Seats. Candidates’ seats may get canceled if they do not report on the given date & time.

During the counseling round, applicants need to open the particular link and fill up the registration form to partake in the counseling round. After that, applicants need to opt for the choice along with their options desired and get the choices filled in the counseling round.

When the counseling round is done applicants need to download a seat allowance letter from the official website of the university. When the seats are chosen for the applicants, they need to see the allotted college with all vital pamphlets and credentials.
