Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) or formerly known as the Kota Open University, renamed through a Gazette notification from Govt. of Rajasthan on 21st September 2002) was established in 1987 as a pioneering institution for open learning in Rajasthan

The Northern Regional Committee grants appreciation for the Kota Open University, Rawatbhata Road, Rajasthan for B.Ed. Distance Education two years from academic session students undergoing fulfillment. This Program is only for the in-service teachers of the State of Rajasthan.

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Application Form will be made through Online Mode. VMOU B.Ed 2023 Application form will be released on 2nd week of March 2023. VMOU B.Ed 2023 Application form can be filled by the 4th week of April 2023.

Students should follow the below steps to fill VMOU B.Ed. Entrance Exam 2023 Application Form

Step 1: Registration

• Click at above-given link or visit official website www.vmou.ac.in
• Enter login applicants – Roll Number or Name and Date of Birth
• Click on Submit Button
• Make sure your computers are connected to a printer
• Click on the download tab
• Print the downloaded admit card

Step 2: Filling of Details

• Students have to fill the application form by entering all the details like Candidates’ Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Address, Contact Number, Qualification details, etc.
• Upload the scanned copy of the Signature and photographs. The size of the image should be less than 50Kb.
• Verify all the filled information before clicking on the Submit button.

Step 3: Payment of Application Fee

• Students have to pay the application fee of INR 1000/-. The fees can be paid through online operation i.e. via. Credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
• Students are advised to download and take the printout of filled in the application form for future reference

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to check the eligibility criteria.

• Arts/Science/Commerce Graduation/Post graduation with 50% marks and relaxation of 5% will be admissible to reserved categories
• Eligibility in all respect is expected to be complete/fulfill by the applicant at the time of B.Ed. entrance test result declaration
• Teaching Experience: The Teaching Experience Certificate is an important document for seeking admission to B.Ed. program
• Applicants must produce the original teaching experience certificate at the time of counseling
• If any lacunae/deficiency is found in the experience in teaching certificate, the admission will be canceled without any hearing by the candidate

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Exam Pattern

The Information related Exam Pattern will be Provided Below.

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through Offline Mode (PPT).
• Number of Section: The paper comprises five-section that is to say Mental Education, Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge, Expertise in Hindi and English language
• Language of Exam: The question paper will be available in Hindi as well as the English language.
• Number of Question: The exam comprises a total number of 150 questions
• Number of Marks: The exam comprises a total number of 450 marks
• Type of Question: All the questions asked in the paper are multiple-choice-type questions.
• Duration of Exam: The total time duration to complete the examination is 3 hours.
• Marking Scheme: For each precise answer, 3 marks will be bestowed
• Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be removed from the total.

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Admit Card

Admit card is a compulsory document. Without an admit card students cannot enter the examination center/ hall. Admit card for all candidates that have successfully applied for the test will be downloaded on the official website of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University.

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Online Admit Card will be released on 14th June 2023 which Exam will be held on the 23rd May 2023.

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Result

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Result will be Declared in December 2023. The entrance test result can be checked through online fashion only. It will not be sent via post or courier.

Students must keep visiting the website periodically for further updates. Students have to enter their Scholar Number and select the program to check the result.

Selection Process

VMOU B.Ed 2023 Counselling will be starting from December 2023. Based on the results, nominees will be called for Counseling on the procedure.

A merit list will be ready for the candidates who qualify for the exam. It must be noted that no correspondence related to Counseling or selection will be intimated personally over phone or mail.

According to students ranked in the merit list, they will be referred for Counseling. The physical presence of the student is December 2023.

Students must bring the following list of documents at the time of Counseling for verification. If the candidates are unable to bring the documents then they cannot take part in Counseling.

Documents Required

• VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2023 Admit card / Hall Ticket.
• VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2023 Scorecard.
• Original counseling letter along with a photocopy of the counseling letter.
• Original Admit card along with a photocopy of the admit card.
• The bank draft has to be made as per the guidelines mentioned on Vardhman Open University Prospectus.
• All the original and at least 2 photocopies of certificates of 10th & 12th class.
• Original degree/provisional certificate if the candidate is appearing.
• Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Other) signed by the authorized authority.
• Medical documents are mentioned on the Vardhman Open University application form.
• 4-6 Passport size photographs color and black and white.
• All Mentioned Documents in Counseling Letter.
