  • Upper age limit: 35 years. There is no age bar for ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) or LHV (Lady Health Visitor).

Educational Qualifications:

  • Must have completed 10+2 with English.
  • Minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board.
  • Candidates from State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government are also eligible. However, a Science background is preferable.
  • Those with 40% marks in vocational ANM course or Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre are eligible.
  • Registered ANM with a pass mark.
  • Medical fitness is a prerequisite for admission.

For Foreign Nationals:

  • The equivalency of the entry qualification (12th standard) will be determined by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
  • Submission of nationality papers, equivalence certificate for 12th standard from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) New Delhi, proof of age, and fulfilment of other admission norms prescribed by INC.
  • Foreign nationals cannot be registered with any State Nursing Council in India for employment during the study period.

Reservation:

  • 3% disability reservation for candidates with a disability of locomotor ranging from 40% to 50% of the lower extremity.
  • 5% relaxation of total marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • Any other reservations as per the State Government norms.
  • The reservation is applicable within the sanctioned number of seats by INC.
