Sam Higgins’s bottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology, and Sciences, formerly Allahabad Agricultural Institute is a government-aided deemed university located in Allahabad, India.

The university is established in the year 1910 by Dr. Sam Higgins bottom as the  Allahabad Agricultural Institute towards improving the economic status of the rural population. The UGC approves the university.

Candidates can keep the photocopy of the application form, acknowledgment slip and fee payment Challan for future reference. There is no need to send the Application Form through the post.

Allahabad Agriculture University 2024 Admit Card

The admit card has been available on the website of SHUATS only (www.shuats.edu.in) from July, 2024. The applicant is required to print the admit card from the university Website at www.shuats.edu.in.

However, he/ she is required to bring a passport-size photograph (similar to that pasted on the application form) along with the admit card to the entrance-test center for verification.

The academic infrastructure of the university is organized into eight faculties, which are divided into 22 constituent schools.

It contains a total of 78 academic departments and three research centers with an emphasis on Scientific, Agricultural, Technological Education and Research.

The institution has its hospitals. The campus is located at Naini, a satellite neighbourhood of Allahabad on the banks of river Yamuna. The university is spread over 900 acres of land.

Separate merit lists has been prepared for each category (Christian & general) based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance test for the purpose of admission.

Out of the eligible programs under the Subject Group Code for UG and Subject Group Number for PG programs, the candidate has been provisionally admitted in only one program, strictly on the basis of merit and availability of seat in the respective program under Christian/ general category of seats.

The NRI Wards/ NRI-sponsored candidates shall be admitted on the basis of a separate merit list prepared exclusively for them. These admissions shall be against 15 percent over and above the seats available in various academic programs.

Fifteen percent seats in undergraduate programs and twenty-five percent seats (25%) in postgraduate programs in agricultural and allied subjects has been allotted through all India entrance test conducted by ICAR, New Delhi.

Counseling of candidates as per the ranking in each category (Christian and general) has been done for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
