NUJS Admission 2024 Admission has been done on the basis of CLAT 2024. National University of Juridical Sciences, abbreviated to NUJS, was established in 1999 by BCI, UGC. University offers courses at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The courses offered by the university are BA/B.Sc LLB (H), LLM, M. Phil, Ph.D. & LLD.

WBNUJS shall carry out the entrance exam for admission to various UG, PG, and doctoral program the hotel offers. The exam is conducted on 3rd December 2023. The outcome is released after exams are over at the university website. The release of the result is being followed by the counseling process for allotment of seats.

WBNUJS the following is a semester process of examination. The exams are conducted twice in one year. The odd semester is conducted in the month of December and even the semester is conducted in the month of May. The result is published on the official university website once the exams are over. NUJS 2024 Application Form has been Released on 1st July 2023 through CLAT 2024. The admissions for all the courses will be done from both online and offline mode.

For the online application process, candidates will need to go to the official website of WBNUJS and to complete the formalities. Offline applications can be sent to the address provided. The admission schedule for WBNUJS is as follows:

NUJS 2024 Result

The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS or NUJS) is a standalone law university offering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The university provides five-year integrated B.A./BSc. LLB (Hons.) degree program at the undergraduate level and a Master of Laws (LLM) program at the postgraduate level.

The university follows a semester system of examination. The exams are conducted twice in a year. The results are published on the official website following the completion of the exam.

NUJS 2024 Admissions Process

WBNUJS has a wide range of courses to offer at its campus for example in the BA/B.Sc LLB and LLM. The course duration of the LLB program is 5 years while for the LLM program 2 years duration is decided.

The selection of the candidates who aspire to get admission to BA/ B.Sc LLB, as well as LLM programs, will be based on their performance in the CLAT entrance exam. The test would be conducted for 2 hours the length with objective type questions of 10+2 standard for the LLB program. The CLAT exam for the LLM program will be made up of both long essay type questions and MCQs.

The performance of the candidates will be appreciated, on the basis of which, a merit list would be prepared. Those who will qualify will continue with the admission process to their desired courses.

For candidates who want to pursue research in the field of Law or who are interested in the teaching of Law that can be applied to WBNUJS. Research shows such as the M. Phil and PhD can be pursued for 1 year and 3 years duration respectively. The candidates must be present for an entrance test and interview session to make sure that they get admission. Along with this, in the next eligibility requirements must be met:

Eligible candidates will sit for the entrance test and chosen candidates will have to appear for the interview according to the schedule dictated by the University authorities. Those who are eligible both the entrance test and Interview will later be called on the university head office to complete the necessary formalities of the Admission process.

One of the world’s most advanced programs in the field of Law, LLD, is offered across 4 centers of WBNUJS. The course duration of the LLD course is 4 years. Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. in the area of Law. Moreover, it is mandatory to have written a minimum of ten articles in the peer-reviewed/reviewed journals having ISSN numbers or books of repute with ISBN number after the completion of a Ph.D.
