TSVU Admission 2024 Application Form has been Released through NTA CUET 2024. PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University deallocates notification for admissions every year. The university performs its own entrance test for grant admission in the various disciplines of M.V.Sc and Ph.D. programs. TSVU offers UG, PG and Doctoral level programs in various disciplines. TSVU 2024 Application Form

TSVU Admission 2024 Application Form has been Released through NTA CUET (UG) 2024. The applications shall be downloaded from http://tsvu.nic.in.

The downloaded and properly completed application in conjunction with attested copies of required certificates and proof of application fee payment, must reach the Registrar, PVNR TVU, Administrative Office, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad 500030 on or before the last date by 4.00 p.m. person or through the mail.

The application received after this due date will summarily be turned down. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay.

TSVU 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech and B.V.Sc & AH

Admission to both the courses is based on a fully qualified score in Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test (TS-EAMCET).

B.V.Sc & AH: 10+2 and having at least 50% marks in the corresponding subject group

B.Tech in Dairy Technology: 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the corresponding subject group

Diploma in Animal Husbandry: A pass in class 10th Students must bear in mind that 85% of the total seats have been reserved for the candidates belonging to Telangana State while 15% for those from outside the Telangana.

OGPA/ Marks:

In the qualifying examination, the applicants from the SC/ST/PH categories must have secured a minimum OGPA of 5.00/10.00 OR 2.00/ 4.00. In contrast, nominees from all other categories must have secured the minimum OGPA of 6.00/10.00 OR 2.50/ 4.00.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 40 years as on 01-07-2018 including in candidates by keeping the ICAR Junior Fellowship.

For M.V.Sc & Ph.D.

PVNRTVU offers M.V.Sc and Ph.D. program on the grounds of the fully qualified score in the University-Based Entrance Test. Four seats in each discipline of the M.V.Sc course are reserved for candidates of any sponsored category. Two seats in each discipline of the Ph.D. program are reserved for candidates of any sponsored category.

M.V.Sc: 

B.V.Sc& AH degree from a recognized university and the age there should be more than 40 years as on July 01, 2024

Ph.D.:

M.V.Sc degree from an accredited university with 70% (60% instead of SC/ST) and the age should not be more than 50 years like on July 01 of the admission year including ICAR Scholarship recipients. Master of Veterinary Science or an equivalent examination in Veterinary Science from PVNR TVU/SVVU/ APAU/ ANGRAU or from an institution attributed by ICAR in the concerned field of specialization with at slightest 70% marks in total under traditional system of examination or an OGPA of 2.7 or above in 4.00 point scale or OGPA of 6.50 or above in 10.00 point scale in grade point system.

In the case of SC, ST and PH aspirants, a minimum of 60% combined marks under the old system in Master of Veterinary Science or OGPA of 2.5 out of 4.00 or 6.00 out of 10.00 to below the10 point scale is very vital. Elementarybachelors degree in B. V. Sc. /B. V. Sc & A. H. is essential. The applicants are anticipating for the final thesis viva-voce result may also apply. However, they have to produce a provisional certificate on or instead of the date of entrance examination in the absence of which they are approved for the entrance examination.

Candidates must check the TSVU 2024 Selection Process

For M.V.Sc & Diploma

• Pursuant of marks in class 10th
• V.Sc entrance test includes various subjects in accordance with the regulations of MSVE-VCI 2008.
• The test contains 200 MCQs.
• Students have to secure as a minimum 40% marks in the test to secure admission.

For PhD.

• Marks in the qualifying degree and the valid score in the admission test carried out by the university which was followed by an interview round
• D. Entrance Test Criteria: The entrance test will comprise 100 MCQs. Students need to score at least 50% marks in the test to qualify.

The entrance test must be comprehensive, covering all relevant subjects prescribed for the concerned Bachelor’s degree to the demands of this University as per VCI MSVE-2008 Regulations. The Entrance Examination paper will contain only 200 multiple-choice questions.

Candidates should mark answers by choosing the correct answers in the question booklet itself. Candidates who get 40% or more marks in the entrance test only are eligible for admission.

On The Other Hand, in the case of SC/ ST/ PH candidates, there are no minimum qualifying marks and candidates are admitted to the extent of reserved seats. SC/ ST/ PH candidates that claim seats under the general category have to obtain at a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance test.
