Bangalore University 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The General category applicant would be 20 years. Those candidates of SC/ST or Foreign national would be of 22 years.

• A candidate who is in search of admission to the B.A., LL.B. Degree Course shall have effectively accomplished Pre-University Course or Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’) or equivalent (for instance 11+1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a familiar University in India or elsewhere, or a Senior Secondary Board or correspondent, established or accepted by the Union or by a State Government ensuring in the total, marks not under 45% (in the event of SC/ST 40%) of the total marks.
• The maximum age for looking for admission to the B.A., LL.B. Degree Course is 20 years of age (reduction of two years in case of SC, ST, Other Backward Communities & Foreign Nationals) on the remaining date for submission of the application of the year of admission.
• If of Foreign Nationals, the applicant has to have study English Language as an obligatory subject in 10+2 or corresponding Higher Secondary School Examination by finding mark or corresponding to 45% in total as regulated through the Equivalence Committee.
• The Admission Committee may organize an English Language competency test if it is obligatory. Only based on the obligatory English language standard, will the applicant be conditionally welcomed?
