Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Berhampur (IISER BPR) is one of the IISER institutes located in Berhampur Odisha. It is popularly known as IISER Berhampur and it was established in the year 2016 by MHRD, Government of India. The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Berhampur was founded in 2016 by the Department of Human Resource Development, Government of India is a Center of Excellence dedicated to teaching and research in basic sciences.

As the unique initiative in science education in India, IISER Berhampur aiming to become the University of the highest standard devoted to as well as high-quality teaching and state-of-the-art research in a totally integrated manner, thus developing both curiosity and inventiveness. IISER Berhampur offers 5 years BS-MS as well as Ph.D. programs in an academically lively atmosphere of research. IISER Berhampur 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Admission Channel	Eligibility Criteria
KVPY Channel	Applying Seekers having a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2024-20 academic session are eligible to apply for admissions. Additional cut-off criteria may be applicable.
JEE Advanced Channel	Applying Seekers in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2024 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to the reserved category (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000.
SCB Channel	Aspirants who have passed (10+2) level with science stream in 2018 or 2024 with marks equal or above the cut-off percentage in their respective boards are eligible to apply for IAT 2024. Students applying through the SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER which will be conducted at various centers across the country.

IISER Berhampur 2024 Cutoff

JEE Channel

Last year disconnected for the JEE channel (general category) was inside the 10000 ranks in the CRL (Common Rank List) of the JEE Advanced examination.

Seat distribution

• A total maximum of 50% of the seats is allocated through KVPY and JEE Advanced channels.
• The remaining seats would be filled through the SCB channel based on the merit in the IISER aptitude test.
• Vacant seats from KVPY and JEE channels will also be added to the SCB channel for allocation.

IISER Berhampur 2024 Admissions Process

The IISER admissions 2024 will be carried out in three channels: JEE, KVPY, and SCB. Candidates applying for JEE or KVPY channel will be invited to the direct admissions at the same time as the candidates who choose the SCB channel must be present for IISER Aptitude Test for admission in the Ph.D. Program, the students want to clear National level examination such as the GATE, NET, etc.

One thing can get admission through three streams namely KVPY, JEE Advanced & State & Central Board. One must separately submit an application for IISER admissions.
