• Minimum Percentage: The applicants who belong to the general category have to score at least above 55 % to get admission in this course, The applicant who Belongs to the reserved category, ST or SC category, has to score at least above 50 % in their exams.
• Appearing applicants: The applicants applying for the LLB exam and in the final year of that exam can also apply for this course.

Eligibility criteria for the PhD course

• Educational Qualification: The applicants opting for this course must have a master’s degree in law from any well-known discipline education board.
• Minimum Percentage: The applicants who belong to the general category have to score 55 % in their exam, whereas those who belong to the reserved category have to score above 50 % to get selected for the PhD program.

National Law University Delhi 2025 Exam Paper Pattern

The applicants who want to get admission to this National Law University Delhi should check the exam paper pattern of the AILET before the exam .this will help the applicants to prepare themselves for the AILET exam, and the Exam Paper Pattern will give the applicants a rough idea of what and how will the paper be.

• Date of Exam: The entrance exam will be held on the Last week of December 2025

• Duration of the exams: The total duration will be 90 minutes (one hour and thirty minutes) for all the courses.
• Number of Questions: 
  • There will be 100 MCQ questions, and one essay will be asked in the question paper for the LLM course.
  • While for BA LLB (Hons.) course and Post–Graduate (PG) courses, a maximum of 150 questions will be asked. 
• Type of Questions: 
  • The exam paper will only have an objective type question which is MCQs, and there will be only one essay question on law for the LLM course. 
  • Question papers of BA LLB (Hons.) and Post–Graduate (PG) courses will only consist of objective type multiple choice questions.
• Total Marks: 
  • The Question paper for the BA LLB (Hons.) exam and Post – Graduate (PG) courses consist of a total of 150 marks each
  • The Question paper of the LLM exam consists of a total of 100 marks.
• Marking system: The applicants will be awarded one mark for each correct answer attempted
• Negative marking: There will not be any negative marking which means the marks of the applicant will not be deducted for any wrong answer attempted

National Law University Delhi 2025 AILET Admit Card will be released soon. All applicants who have submitted their application form and been selected will receive the Admit Card before the AILET exam.

The admit card will be provided to the eligible applicants to get admission to this course. The admit card will be issued by the official representative of the board one month before the exam.

The admit card will be put up on the official website of the university in online mode. The applicants are instructed to carry the admit card on the examination day. If the applicant fails to carry the admit card on the examination day, they will not be permitted to attend it.

National Law University Delhi 2025 Counseling Process

National Law University Delhi 2025 AILET Counseling will be Started soon. Once the results are out, the authorities will conduct the counseling session. The counselling process will be conducted in offline mode. The applicants will be selected and allotted seats in college and university. 

The seats will be given to only those applicants who have scored good marks in the entrance exam. The counselling process will be started in the fourth week of June 2025.

The applicants are instructed to attend all the sessions of counselling. If the applicants fail to be present at the session, then the applicant will be removed from the admission process. And they will not be getting admission to this course.
