In the year 1990, August 15, the NMU was formed by the official authorities. The official authorities of the NMU provide admission to the deserving applicants in different UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs. These courses are offered in different specializations in the campus as well as in the affiliated colleges of the NMU. 

North Maharashtra University is a state University. The official authorities of the NMU also provide UG and PG courses through distance education (IDEAL). The admission to the applicants will be provided on different factors. The applicant needs to meet the eligibility criteria set by the institution to get the admission.

For B.Sc (Actuarial Science)

NMU 2024 Application Process

For the reference of the applicants who want to apply for the admission process, in this section we have provided the details regarding the NMU 2024 Application Process. 

• NMU Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon for Various Courses
• The applicants are instructed to download the NMU 2024 Application Form from the official website of the university
• The applicants need to make sure that they need to submit the NMU 2024 Application Form in person. 
• The official authorities will not accept the submission of thee filled NMU 2024 Application Form in online mode. 
• So the applicants must submit the filled NMU 2024 Application Form in offline mode in person before the end date. 
• In the NMU 2024 Application Form, the applicants will have to enter important details such as the name of the candidate, email id, phone number, other details.
• The applicants are instructed to enter all the details in the NMU 2024 Application Form correctly as the authorities will not provide the facilities to the applicants to make changes in the application form. 
• So all the details should be filled correctly in the application form. 
• Once the NMU 2024 Application Form is filled the applicants can make the payment of the application fee and then submit the NMU 2024 Application Form in the offline mode along with the Challan of the application fee and other relevant documents. 
• The printout of the application forms needs to be submitted to the nearest Application Receipt Centres.

Note The applicant who wants to apply for B.Sc. (Actuarial Science) needs to submit their form and other documents to:

Application Fee

The details related to the NMU 2024 Application Fee areas mentioned in this section for the reference of the applicants. 

Mode of Payment: Offline Mode 

• The applicant who wants to apply for NMU 2024 Admission process can pay the fee through Challan of Central Bank of India (CBI).
• The applicant who wants to apply for MAH M.Ed. CET needs to pay the application fee through DD drawn in the favour of “Finance and Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon”. 

NMU 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have listed down some important criteria which the applicants need to meet to apply for the NMU 2024.

• Qualification (UG course): HSC exam with 10+2 system
• Qualification (PG Course): Graduation or Bachelors degree in a relevant field
• Minimum Marks: More than 50% of marks should be secured by the applicants from the general category and the applicants from the reserved category should have scored not less than 45% marks in the qualifying exam. 
• Recognition: The qualifying exam should be completed from a recognized board or university. 

B.Tech

• Qualification: HSC Exam (10+2 system)
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• Scorecard: MHT CET
• Selection criteria: MHT CET held by DTE, Maharashtra

BBM, B.Sc. (Actuarial Science), BBA, BMS, BCA, MCA (integrated), MBA (integrated)

• Qualification: HSC Exam (10+2 system)
• Selection criteria: CET (Common Entrance Test) except for B.Sc. (Actuarial Science). For B.Sc. (Actuarial Science) the criteria are spot admission. 

M.Sc., MA, MMS, M.Ed.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or graduation in relevant field
• Selection criteria: For MA and M.Sc. course the selection will be done through CAP Rounds held by the university. For M.Ed. and MMS course, the selection will be done through MAH M.Ed. CET and MAH MMS CET respectively. 

MBA, M.Tech, and MCA

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or graduation in relevant field
• Scorecard: For the M.Tech course, the GATE scorecard is needed. For the MCA course, the MAH MCA CET scorecard is required. For the MBA course, MAH MBA CET/CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT or ATMA scorecard is needed. 
• Selection criteria: The selection of the applicant will be done based on the above-said entrance exam scores. 

M.Phil. and Ph.D 

• Qualification: Graduation or Post Graduation in relevant field
• Scorecard: For a Ph.D. course, a PET scorecard is needed. 
• Selection criteria: The selection of the applicant will be done based on PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test). 

NMU 2024 Selection Criteria

The applicants who want to apply for the admission process in different courses need to fill and submit the application form. Other than that the applicants will also have to check and meet the eligibility criteria set by the institution before applying for the admission. 

The applicants must note that if they do not meet the eligibility criteria then they will not be able to get admission to the institution. The official authorities have decided that they will provide admission to the eligible applicants based on the different entrance exams. The applicants will have to appear for the respective entrance exam to get admission in respective courses. 

However, the admission to the eligible applicants in B.Sc. (actuarial science) will be provided based on spot admission. The applicants who have scored higher marks in the qualifying exam and respective entrance exam will be able to get admission in the institution. 

NMU 2024 Entrance Exam 

The admission to the applicants will be provided based on different entrance exams. The official authorities will conduct a university entrance exam for the applicants who want to get admission in BBM, BBA, BMS, BCA, MCA (integrated), MBA (integrated). The applicant who wants to get admission in B.Sc. (Actuarial Science) do not need to appear for any entrance exam. 

The applicants will get the details about the entrance exam for other courses below. 

• B.Tech: MHT CET
• M.Ed.: MAH M.Ed. CET
• MCA: MAH MCA CET
• MBA: MAH MBA CET/CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT or ATMA

M.Tech: GATE

• Mode: Online mode
• Duration: 180 Minutes

MMS: MAH MMS CET

• Mode: Offline mode
• Duration: 90 Minutes
• No of questions: 50 questions
• Total marks: 100 marks
• Marking Scheme: 2 marks for each correct answer.

Ph.D.: PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test)

• Frequency of exam: Twice (January and July)
• No of papers: Two papers
• Paper 1: General Aptitude
• Paper 2: Respective Subject.
