Annually the University of Kashmir invites applicants for admission in the B.Ed program offered through it. Interested applicants need to download and fill the application form for B.Ed admission.  The application form will probably be available last week of April 2023. The applicants will be advised to follow the following steps for filling their Online Application Forms.

• To apply for admission in the B.Ed program proposed by the University of Kashmir, applicants need to fill the application form for the same. The application form will be available only through an online state.
• Candidates may download the form by visiting the official website of the University. Details from the form must be filled in correctly.
• The form will contain information such as the name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, categories, educational qualification to name a few. The form should be filled with adequate care as no occasion to correct the details will be supplied by the authority.
• Candidates should submit the form on or before the deadline defined by the University otherwise their applications will end up being rejected. They are also required to pay the requisite application fee for admission.

Step-2: Provide personal and academic details with care.

Step-3: Upload your latest passport size photograph with a specimen signature at the bottom of the photograph and select your required college preference.

Step-4: Before clicking the submit button ensure you entered the correct information. Get a printout of the Form and note the ID for future reference.

Step-5: Deposit an amount of Rs.700/- as application fee (Payable to DCDC) and Rs.50/- as IT fee (to be paid to Director IT & SS) accordingly against the Pay-in-Slip generated with the Application Form in any of the branches of the J&K Bank Ltd. across the country.

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay Rs. 750/– + IT fee of Rs. 50/- as a total application fee. The fee should be deposited using the downloaded pay-in-slip made in support of “Dean, College Development Council’s J&K bank account number”. The account number possibly will be obtained from the official website of Kashmir University.

University of Kashmir B.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants should have a qualified Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) with 45% (General) and 40% (Reserved Category) marks in any discipline from the University of Kashmir or any other recognized as an equivalent to the directive by the University of Kashmir.
• The Graduate teachers under 10+2+2 scheme with a minimum of two years teaching experience in Government/Government recognized private schools and the candidates having the skilled Post Graduation with 50% marks in every discipline are also eligible
• Every applicant wishing to enroll in the B.Ed program of the University of Kashmir must meet the eligibility requirements set by the authority. Here are those requirements that make the candidate eligible for admission-

Nationality:

Indian Nationals can apply for admission in B.Ed course.

Candidates should have made graduation in any discipline from an accredited University or its equivalent. They must have scored at least 45% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates).

Graduation under 10+2+2 scheme with 2 years teaching experience in the Govt. or Govt. recognized private school with 45% marks (General category) and 40% marks (Reserved category) in case of teacher candidates.

Candidates having obtained P.G Degree with 50% marks are also entitled to apply for admission.

University of Kashmir B.Ed 2023 Selection Process

• To select the candidates for the B.Ed program, the authority will publish a merit list of the nominees based on their performance in the relevant degree level program.
• Only those nominees will be called for counseling in the route whose name is displayed on the merit list displayed on the official website.
• Candidates who are vying for admission should be assigned a seat based on their merit rank.
• Candidates will also be subjected to the document verifying the phase where the authority will thoroughly check.

Documents to be submitted at the time of counseling

Here are the documents that must be brought by the candidates at the very moment of counseling. Candidates must carry original documentation as well as their photocopies. In case a candidate is found to be holding fraudulent papers, his/her nomination will be canceled.

• Class 10th and class 12th mark sheet and passing certificate.
• Mark sheet of graduation or post-graduation.
• Category certificate (wherever applicable)
• Affidavit duly sworn in before the 1st Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that the applicant is neither an employee nor a student in any course runs through Govt./non-Govt. organization/Institution during the session 2019-2023.
