IISER Mohali 2024 Application Form

IISER Mohali Admission 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon for Various Courses. To apply for the Ph.D. program provided by the IISER, Mohali. Candidates need to follow the given steps.

• To complete the Application Form candidates should visit the official website of the university.
• Secondly, candidates should visit the designated page of the program in which he/she is currently seeking admission.
• Click on the apply online link given on the page. Subsequently, a new web page will appear.
• On the following page select Ph.D. Admissions – 2024 and type a valid e-mail address to register. This email id will be used for correspondence.
• Once you register, the login information with the password will be sent to your email. Offers the same login (email id and password) at the login page.  A prompt for password would be displayed when you enter your email id and click submit.
• After you send the form, the “Download Report PDF” link is provided for you to download your application and take a print copy.
• The print copy should be duly signed by both the applicant with dates. You need to affix a passport size photograph into space and shall submit this print copy at the time of the Interview.
• You can view the state of the application by delivering login information anytime.
• Status: form Incomplete – Login and check that you have filled in all mandatory fields and submit your application.
• Status: form Complete – Your form has been submitted for Committee review.

Integrated MS-Ph.D.	Bachelor’s degree in Science and related areas with at least 60% aggregate or at least 6.0 on a scale of 10.	Merit in the qualifying exam along with screening test/interview.
Ph.D.	Master’s degree/ B.Tech/ MBBS/ M.Tech with a good academic record And GATE/ CSIR or UGC-NET/ JEST/ NBHM-JRF/JGEEBILS (TIFR/NCBS)/ GPAT/ ICMR-JRF/ DBT-JRF/DST-INSPIRE qualified in the relevant subject.	Merit in the qualifying exam along with screening test/interview.
Department-wise eligibility:
Biological Sciences	M. Sc./ B. Tech/ MBBS/ M. Tech or equivalent degree and valid GATE (Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Ecology and Evolution) / CSIR-UGC-NET/ JGEEBILS (TIFR/ NCBS)/ ICMR/ DBT/ DST-Inspire fellowship	Merit in qualifying exam along with screening test/interview.
Chemical Sciences	M. Sc. degree in Chemistry/ Physics (with a minimum of 55% marks) or equivalent degree and a valid NET/ GATE/ DST-Inspire fellowship in Chemistry/ Physics.
Mathematical Sciences	GATE/CSIR-UGC-NET/NBHM-JRF with Mathematics as the primary subject. DST-INSPIRE fellowship must have taken Mathematics as their primary subject during their Master’s program.
Physical Sciences	Masters degree in Physics or a Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, and should have a valid GATE/ CSIR-UGC-NET/ JEST/ DST-Inspire fellowship in Physics.
Earth and Environmental Sciences	M. Sc./ B. Tech/ M. Tech in Atmospheric Sciences/ Earth and Environmental Sciences/ Geology/ Chemistry/ Physics and a valid GATE/ CSIR-UGC-NET/ DST-Inspire fellowship.
Humanities and Social Sciences	M.A./M.Sc./M.Phil degree (with a minimum of 55% marks) in one or more of the following subjects: Philosophy (Ethics, Indian Philosophy, Analytical Philosophy and Philosophy of Science)/ Sociology / Anthropology / Modern Indian History / Urban History / Political Economy / Archaeology /Prehistory / Paleoanthropology / Ancient Indian History (Cultural heritage studies)/ Gender Studies /Geography / English Literature (Postmodernism, Literary Theory, American Literature) or related areas such as development studies, South Asian studies. UGC/NET/GATE or any other national level eligibility test is required.

IISER Mohali 2024 Admissions Process

Fill the application form available on the site of the college. Candidates are required to pay the application fees of INR 2000 for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories and INR 1000 for people with disabilities and the SC/ST category.

The application fee is non-reimbursable. Payment to be made only by using a secure payment gateway on the admission portal.
