IISER Thiruvananthapuram Admission 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon for Various Courses. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) was opened in the year 2008 and situated in Trivandrum, Kerala. IISER TVM BS-MS of 5-year duration, integrated Ph.D. of 7-year running time, a Ph.D. program of 5 years over time, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship program.

The application form for each course has to be submitted online separately. Candidates could apply through the website of IISER/ IISER-TVM. Application form of BS-MS is made available on the website of IISER, while candidates have to apply through the website of IISER-TVM for the Integrated Ph.D./ Ph.D. Program. The application form of the Post-Doctoral Program has to be submitted through email.

Applicants who have gone through 10+2 with minimal 55% aggregate marks (50% in order to SC/ ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from a recognized board are considered eligible to get admission to BS-MS course. Proponents Master’s Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Mathematical Science/ Engineering/ Technology with minimum 55% marks (50% for set aside category) and to have qualified any National Eligibility Tests or The scholarship program are eligible for admission to Integrated Ph.D.

IISER Thiruvananthapuram Admission 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon for Various Courses. Candidates need to apply separately for each course and the application procedure for all courses is different. Candidates are required to visit the website of IISER-TVM or IISER to get the information regarding the application process.

In Order To Get A BS-MS course, students have to submit an application through the IISER official website, and for the rest of the courses, they need to visit the IISER-TVM’s website.

For Integrated Ph.D. and Ph.D.

• Fill out an application with valid details.
• Upload all the required documents.
• Pay your application fee through Bank Challan.
• Submit the Application Form.

For Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program

• Application submission form through email.
• Attach all the required documents in PDF format with the Application Form.
• Write your name as well as the name of the concerned discipline you are applying for in the subject line of the email.
• Send it on or before the stipulated date of submission.
• Note: Candidates must submit an application fee INR 200 through Powerjyoti Account and download the challan for the application fee through the website. SC/ ST applicants are excluded from paying the application fee.

IISER Thiruvananthapuram 2024 Admissions Process

IISER Thiruvananthapuram is offering a Post-Doctoral Program of 2-year duration in 4 majors, expandable up to 1 year for skilled scientists along with Ph.D. Degree. Candidates who want to continue their research work in the field of Physical, Chemical, Biological, Mathematical Science/ Engineering/ Technology and finished or are in the final stage of filling in the Ph.D. Degree are considered eligible to apply for this program.

The selection of the candidates is conducted on the basis of their value in the qualifying examination. It is a fellowship program and as per the norms, candidates are provided INR 40, 000 per month for the first two years and INR 45, 000 per month in the third year and contingency subsidy of INR 75, 000 per year that is required to be consumed through attending conferences/ workshops. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is offering a Ph.D. program of 5-year duration that contains 4 specializations.

Applicants who completed the Master’s Degree in any relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks and have been qualified any of these National Level Eligibility Tests or Fellowship programs viz. GATE/ INSPIRE Ph.D./ CSIR-UGC-JRF/ ICMR-JRF/ JGEEBILS/ NBHM-JRF/ JEST are considered eligible to apply for admission to the Ph.D. program. The choice of the candidates for admission to the program is carried out through the IISER-TVM test conducted by the Institute. Qualified candidates are being called for written test and interview round and those who qualify these rounds get the admission.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Trivandrum proffers Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (BS-MS), a 5-year extent course where first two years are pro studying course subjects, next two years are dedicated to the chosen topic of specialization and the preceding year is scheduled for the research project. Admission to the applicants is given through JEE/ KVPY/ SCB channel.

Applicants with KVPY fellowship are given price under KVPY channel, but claimants who secure rank within 10, 000 in the Common Rank List of JEE are admitted to the course, although under SCB channel, applicants who have agreed 10+2 with Science stream from a State and Central Board are given admittance. Candidates who have gone through 10+2/ HSC examination from a recognized board with Science stream are considered eligible to receive admission. The required minimum eligibility score varies from boards and relaxation of 5% is given to candidates of OBC Non-Creamy layer and Physically Disabled people. For SC/ ST and Kashmiri Migrant candidates, the cut-off percentage is 55%.
