MAHA TETMAHA TET is also known as Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test and the conducting body of MAHA TET examination in Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune to offer teacher job to the eligible candidates in classes I to VIII. 

The State of Maharashtra conducted Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), which is necessary for primary (Classes I to V) and elementary (Classes VI to VIII) teachers in Maharashtra. Candidates must have to score qualified marks in this examination for their selection.

Through this content, candidates will know the detailed information of the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) in which includes MAHA TET Exam Pattern 2021.

MAHA TET Exam Pattern 2021

For the better preparation of examination, candidates must have to go with the Exam Pattern and in the Exam Pattern, there will be separate questions paper for each of the two primary school teachers (eg 1st to 5th) and upper primary (eg 6th to 8th) teachers.

Paper I (Class I-V)

  • As per the MAHA TET Exam Pattern and Syllabus, the paper I will be divided in five topics i.e. child development and pedagogy, maths, environmental studies, and language 2.
  • Each section of the paper-I will have 30 questions and the total questions in the exam will be 30 * 5 which is 150.
  • Each question of the MAHA TET paper I will be for 1 marks, making the paper for 150 marks in total.
  • As stated in MAHA TET Exam Pattern and Syllabus, the exam will be of objective nature and have multiple-choice questions (MCQ’s)
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers in Paper 1 of MAHA TET.

MAHA TET Paper –I Exam Pattern (1st to 5th Class)

Paper-II (Class VI-VIII)

  • Paper-II of MAHA TET will be divided into three sections i.e. child development and pedagogy, maths and science, language 1, and language 2.
  • As per the MAHA TET Exam Pattern and Syllabus, there will be 30 questions in each section and the section on Maths and Science/ Social Studies will have 60 MCQ’s.
  • All the questions in paper II of the MAHA TET Exam will be for 1 mark
  • According to MAHA TET Exam Pattern and Syllabus, the MAHA TET exam will be of objective nature and have multiple-choice questions (MCQ’s)
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers in Paper II of MAHA TET.
