BCECE Exam Pattern
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is administered by Bihar Combined Entrance Examination Board (BCECEB). Those candidates want to seek the admission into courses related to Engineering, Medicine and Agriculture in colleges and institutions, they can take admission in these institutions.
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is primarily conducted for the Candidates, who belong from Bihar. That all institutions are situated in the Bihar state as well as some who are situated outside of Bihar.
A majority of the Government and Private Institutes within Bihar and some outside Bihar consider your marks in the BCECE during the admission process. It is one of the most important state level entrance examinations of Bihar and attracts a high number of applicants every year.

BCECE Exam Pattern 2018
From 2018, BCECE 2018 exam is conducted in one stage. Check the exam pattern of BCECE 2018:
- Exam Date: The exam will be conducted on 29th April 2018 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology) & 30th April 2018 (Agriculture).
- Courses: It is conducted for engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses.
- Number of Questions: Total 100 questions will be asked in BCECE 2018.
- Question Paper Type: Objective Type Questions consisting of 4 alternative options.
- Subjects: The question paper covers the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & Agriculture subjects. It is compulsory to attempt Physics & Chemistry sections. Candidates who apply for engineering have to attempt Mathematics.
- Language: Question paper will be asked in the English language and below then hindi translation will be given.
- Mode: Examination will be conducted in pen and paper based mode.
- Duration: The candidates have to solve the question paper in 1 hours 30 minutes (for each subject).
- Marking Scheme: Every correct response will carry +4 marks.
- Negative Marking: Every wrong answer will carry -1 mark.

The BCECE 2018-19 is conducted in two stage examination (Stage 1 & Stage 2)
The BCECE question paper is available in the English and Hindi language for the candidate.
Physics and Chemistry are the mandatory sections while there is a choice between Mathematics and Biology section.
The duration of the entrance examination will be 2 hours 15 minutes (for stage I) and hour 30 minutes (for stage II)
The question paper type will be objective type consisting of 4 alternative options.
The candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer.
The candidate will be deducted for every incorrect response

Both the question paper of BCECE stage 1 and stage 2 will be composed of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects.
