KSET examKSET is referred to as the Karnataka State Eligibility Test which is organized by the Government of Karnataka to ensure that teaching standards are maintained for courses taught at the Higher Secondary level in the state of Karnataka.

Candidates have to give the KSET 2023 exam to be appointed as Higher Secondary School Teachers as well as Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE.

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2023 is set to be governed every year for enrolling in Lecturer and Assistant Professorship 2023. This article specified the detailed exam information.

KSET Exam Pattern 2023 

KSET 2023 Entrance Exam will be held on the 2nd week of April 2023. KSET 2023 Entrance Exam is divided into two papers which are of two hours duration each.

The question will be in objective type multiple choice questions asked in the KSET 2023 Examination.

Session Paper Max. Marks Number of Question Duration
First I 100 50 Compulsory questions 1 Hour (09:30 A.M to 10:30 A.M)
Second II 200 100 Compulsory questions 2 Hours (11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M)

Paper I 

  • Paper I shall be Consist of 50 Complusory question.
  • Each question carrying 2 marks.
  • The Duration of the Exam is 1 hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am).
  • The questions which will be of general nature, are intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.
  • It will primarily be designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.

Paper-II

  • Paper-II shall be Consist of 100 Compulsory questions.
  • Each question carrying 2 marks.
  • The Duration of the Exam is 2 hours (11:00 am to 1:00 pm).

The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II on the Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
