UP Polytechnic Syllabus

JEECUP Syllabus 2018 (UP Polytechnic Syllabus 2018) will be based on the topics & chapters of the 10th/11th/12th standard. UPJEE is the state level examination and the full form of UPJEE is Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination. It is organized by the JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh).

UP Polytechnic Syllabus

Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic Entrance Entrance Exam contains three subjects name as Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. There will be total 120 questions the entrance exam consists of the Multiple Type Questions.

For Group ‘A’10th syllabus of UP Board

Maths – 50%

Physics & Chemistry – 50%

For Group ‘B’It consists of two Sections. In the first section, Questions will be asked from Mathematics. And another section is from Physics or Chemistry or Agriculture.

For Group CThe following are the three Sections in the Group C Syllabus.

English & Hindi comprehension -20%

Besides this, it also includes the questions from 10th Standard.

For Group DThis Group contains the four Sections and the Syllabus covered under 12th class syllabus.

For Group EThe Group E contains the Syllabus of 12th Standard from the following Subjects.

For Group ‘I’It includes 12th Standard UP Board Syllabus. It contains the two Sections.

For Group ‘K’This group includes the Syllabus from the 10th & 12th Standard UP Board. It contains two Sections namely.

Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics – 40%

Engineering – 60%


⇔UP Polytechnic Exam Pattern

There were 100 questions in the Polytechnic entrance exam 2017. 50 questions were from Mathematics and 25-25 each for Physics and Chemistry. The standard of paper was high school and senior secondary (12th) class. All questions were containing 4 marks for correct answer and 1 negative mark for the incorrect answer.

Candidates can check the answer key on the official website of JEECUP. It helps to the candidate to get the idea of their answers. After the declaration of answer key, the result will be declared on the official website of JEECUP.

To check the answer key from the official website, the candidate has to enter the roll number and booklet number in the spaces, which is provided there.


UPJEE Cut-off

The JEECUP will be releasing the UPJEE cut-off through online mode. The cut-off is the minimum marks obtain by the candidates in the examination. On the basis of the cut-off, candidates can estimate the rough idea that they are eligible for the further admission process or not. The cut-off will be prepared on the basis of given factors such as no. of candidates appeared in the exam, passing candidates, the difficulty level of exam, etc.

⇒UP Polytechnic Counselling

The counseling of UP Polytechnic will start from the fourth week of June 2017-18. The candidates can participate in online counselling through online mode. After the registration, candidates have to pay the counselling fee.

The counselling process is declared after the result declaration, those candidates are selected on the merit, only they will announce for the counselling process. Candidates have to carry the important documents for counselling.

    year polytechnic pass hoo but 2016 me to kya ab mai 2018 me new admissions 3 rd year se le sakta hooo
