WBUTTEPA Admission 2023 Application Form has been Released on 4th September 2023 for M.Ed Courses. West Bengal University of Teachers Training, Education Planning & Administration (WBUTTEPA) is proposing B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil & Ph.D. programs in different disciplines. West Bengal University Of Teachers’ Training Education Planning And Administration (WBUTTEPA), Kolkata is the earth-level university established in 2015. It features a B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D., and M.Phil programs in different disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Admission will be carried out on the basis of the entrance exam was followed by counseling at the university level. WBUTTEPA is offering a centralized online admission to B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil & Ph.D. program for B.Ed., the candidate must have gone through Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree and with a minimum 50% marks.

Minimum eligibility for M.Ed. is candidate must have spent B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / D.El.Ed. with a UG degree/ B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. with at least 50% marks. Admission to B.Ed. is made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Selection to M.Ed. is done on the basis of the admission test for M.Phil and Ph.D., the candidate is chosen on the basis of academic score and interview.

WBUTTEPA Admission 2023 Application Form has been Released on 4th September 2023 for M.Ed Courses. West Bengal University of Teachers Training, Education Planning & Administration (WBUTTEPA) provides an online application for admission in its various programs. Visit the official website of the university and press the Apply Online button.

Fill the application form concerning due guidelines and pay charges online. After applying, the candidate required to take the printout of the Application Form and fees receipt for future reference.

For B.Ed: At the time of Counselling, candidates must bring the following documents for verification

• Release certificate by the Principal of the previous Institution
• Pass certificates of the last exam (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Attested copy of M.C. resolution regarding deputation (if applicable)
• Three passport size photographs
• Deputation duly filled in (available after admission)

For Ph.D.: Documents required at the time of interview

• Bank receipt of the deposit application fees

• Photocopy of three documents with signature
• Caste Certificate, if applicable

Students are needed to enter the following information Candidate ID, Password & Security Code to verify the result.

Take some extra printouts of the result for further use. A merit list is prepared as per the marks achieved in the examination. Rank List will be developed separately for different categories.

WBUTTEPA 2023 Admissions Process

WBUTTEPA offers a B.Ed program in various subjects for a maximum of three years. Minimum eligibility criteria for B.Ed. program is a candidate need to pass in a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or BE/B.Tech degree with Science or Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks with ME/M.Tech degree.

The selection of the candidates can be done on the basis of merit in qualifying examination. WBUTTEPA offers M.Ed. program to serve for a period of two years. The minimum eligibility to receive M.Ed. program is candidate must have passed B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / D.El.Ed. with a UG degree/ B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. with at least 50% marks.

Selection is done on the basis of admission test carried out by the university. The university offers Ph.D. and M.Phil program in Teacher Education with an intake of 15 nominees in each program.

Minimum eligibility for both the research-level program is candidate must have gone through the MA in Education or M.Ed. with an aggregation of 55% marks is compulsory as well as all of the following: B.Ed. with 55% marks on an aggregate and Honours degree in any subject Or four-year integrated Teachers Education Program (BA, B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed.) with 55% marks or its equivalent.

For Ph.D., NET/SET (West Bengal) score is obligatory for admission. Marquee to both the program is conducted on the basis of the academic score (maximum 10 marks for MA (Education) and maximum 10 marks for B.Ed.) and interview score (Maximum 10 marks).

Candidates who have done an Integrated Course in B.A. B.Ed/ B.Sc. B.Ed with a minimum of 55% marks is also eligible to apply in the M.Phil program. There is a relaxation of 5% brands for SC/ST/OBC and PH categories.

Candidates who are already Ph.D. degrees in any subject other than Education or hold Ph.D. degrees from the NET score are also entitled to apply for the Ph.D. program. 30% of the seats are allotted for the Language group, 30% in science and Mathematics group as well as 40% of the seats for the Social Science group.

Deputed teachers serving in substantive posts in Teachers ‘Training Institutions’ would be given the preference. Relaxation of 5% marks will be placed on reserved category candidates. Relaxation of 5% marks will be placed on the reserved category. 20% of the seats for self-financed faculties and 50% of the seats are reserved for WBUTTEPA.

WBUTTEPA M.Ed Admission Test

• The test comprises of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect response. Information on venue, date, time and list of eligible applicants can be found at the official website of the university.
• Final admission will be provided on the basis of merit scored in the admission test.
• A counseling session will be watched afterward for which the candidates need to pay a sum of INR 1000.
• The session allows the students to choose their own preferences for the selection of colleges/ departments of the university.
