Himachal Pradesh NEET Counseling 2020 Registration has been started on 4th November 2020. The Himachal Pradesh University is conducting the Counselling and Admission procedure.
The Himachal Pradesh University is managing the Counselling procedure on behalf of the Government of Himachal Pradesh Department of Medical Education and Research.
The admission will be offered through the NEET score for MBBS/BDS courses. Candidates can apply for the state medical, dental government, and private institutions through counseling.

The Himachal Pradesh University will invite applications from the candidates who are qualified for NEET 2020 examination. It is important that only NEET-UG 2020 qualified candidates can fill the application form on the basis of which the state merit list will be made. Candidates have to register for counseling from the Himachal Pradesh University official website.
A category-wise new merit list will be published on the basis of All India Merit Rank of NEET-UG 2020. Candidates need to pay the counseling fee to be eligible for the counseling and the seat allotment procedure. The counseling will be conducted through offline mode on the University campus.

Selection & Admission Procedure for Himachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2020
- Candidates have to fill the application form for counseling 2020 in order to get admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
- The seats will be allotted on the basis of merit-cum-choice of the candidates.
- The candidate has to present in person for counseling on the day of counseling.
- Candidates who will fill and submit the application form successfully, they will be eligible to participate in the counseling procedure.
- Candidates have to report to the counseling center on the specified date and time.
- The call letter for attending the counseling will not be sent to candidates.
- The final seat allotment will be done after the verification of the documents and choices filled by the candidates.
- Selected candidates will be provided with the admission letter for admission which can be downloaded on the next day of the counseling from the university website.
- Candidates have to report to the allotted college for admission with the admission letter.
- If the candidate fails to follow any of the steps or their documents found incorrect their admission will be canceled.
Reservation Criteria
The reservation in the Himachal Pradesh state medical and dental college will be applicable as per the state and central government rules. Candidates will have to apply under the reserved category only if they have valid documents.
All state medical and dental colleges have their own reservation criteria for each category. Candidates are advised to check the respective website to which they are seeking admission.
