OTET Application Form 2022

OTET 2022 Application Form will be Released on 3rd week of February 2022 and those candidates are interested and eligible to become the teacher in government schools across the Odisha state, they can apply in this test by filling the Application Form through online mode.

  • The last Date for apply is 2nd week of March 2022.
  • The applicants can fill the Application Form by following the simple steps mentioned below.
  • Primarily, applicants need to go on the official web page of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
  • Candidates have to click on the link of new registration available on the web page and they should have to enter the details such as name, password, mobile number, and email ID and click on it.
  • After entering all the details, applicants have to submit them. Applicants will get login details to fill the Application Form.
  • The applicants have to fill in all the correct and complete details in the Application Form such as personal, educational, and Eligibility Criteria.
  • For the final submission of the Application Form, applicants have to review all the details again for confirmation.

Candidates can pay OTET 2022 application fee online (SBI debit card/ SBI net banking) or offline (SBI Challan) mode.

OTET Eligibility Criteria 2022

Those candidates are aspiring to become a teacher in the schools of Odisha State, they can apply in this test based on their Eligibility Criteria, which is mentioned below.

  • Candidates should belong to Indian Citizenship.
  • They should have domicile of Odisha
  • There is no upper age limit to apply in this test.

Category-A (Paper- I)

  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT or D.El.Ed). OR
  • Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR

Category-B (Paper-II)

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  • Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed.(Special Education). OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A./ B.Sc, Ed or B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed.

OTET Exam Pattern 2022

The applicants should have to prefer the Exam Pattern for the better preparation of examination and the Exam Pattern for both categories mentioned below.

OTET Exam Pattern for Category-A (Paper-I)

The OTET Exam Pattern for Paper-I such that there will be 150 multiple choice questions in the exam that candidates need to complete in 2.5 hours duration. 30 questions of 30 marks will be asked from the following Subject:

  1. Child Development & Pedagogy
  2. Language-I (Odia/ Urdu/ Hindi/ Telugu/ Bengali)
  3. Language-II (English)
  4. Mathematics
  5. Environment Studies

One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking in the exam.

OTET Exam Pattern for Category-B (Paper-II)

The OTET Exam Pattern for Paper-II is such that the question paper will contain a total of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours. 30 questions of 30 marks will be asked from the following Subject

  1. Child Development & Pedagogy.
  2. Language-I (Odia/ Urdu/ Hindi/ Telugu/ Bengali).
  3. Language-II (English).
  4. Mathematics & Science (30 questions from Mathematics and 30 questions from Science).
  5. Social Studies (30 questions from History as well as Political Science and 30 questions from Geography).

Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. No marks will be deducted for any incorrect answer.

OTET Admit Card 2022

Those applicants have successfully submitted their Application Form, they can download the Admit Card online mode by visiting the official website. OTET Admit Card 2022 can be Download from 4th week of March 2022. 

On the provided schedule through authority, the Admit Card will be provided to the candidates. Admit Card is the key to enter in the examination hall.

OTET Answer Key 2022

The OTET Answer Key will be published on the official website and those candidates who have given the examination can download the Answer Key by using the required details. The answer will be Released on 20th May 2022. 

With the help of Answer Key, applicants can calculate and estimate their marks by matching with actual answers of authority.

OTET Result 2022

On the official web page of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, the OTET Result will be declare and those candidates who have appeared in this examination can check their results through online mode by submitting the login details.

As per marks obtained in the examination, applicants will get the eligibility certificate through authority.

Applicants can participate in Odisha Teacher Recruitment for classes I to VIII as per their marks.

The qualifying marks are 60% (90 out of 150) in Odisha TET.
