CTET July Session 2020 Result has been Declared on 26th February 2021. CTET July Session 2020 Revised Exam Date has been Announced, Now the Exam will be held on 31st January 2020 (Sunday). CTET 2020 exam is held in July 2020 to enable candidates to fetch the CTET Eligibility Certificate 2020. CTET is the national level entrance test that is organized twice a year. Two sessions are conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of secondary education). The CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test will help the candidates to be eligible for recruited as the Teachers to teach in the Government Schools/ Added Schools/ Private Institutions and Schools across the country.

The CBSE has aimed/ Missioned to Bring the National/ Central/ Equal Standard of the teaching process and setting up the benchmarks in the teaching quality of the teachers and transparency in the teachers’ recruitment process. CTET 2020 Application Form

Here we are mentioning the details of the CTET 2020 Application Form. Candidates can also check How to Fill the CTET 2020 Application Form here in the article.

  • The CTET 2020 Application Form has been released through the online mode.
  • July 2020 Session: The candidates can fill the CTET 2020 Application Form from 24th January 2020.
  • The candidates can fill the Application Form by 9th March 2020 for the July 2020 Session.
  • For December 2020 session: The candidates can fill the CTET 2020 Application Form from the Third week of August 2020.
  • The candidates can fill the Application Form till the Fourth week of September 2020 for the December 2020 Session.
  • The candidates will be able to fill the Application Form in the given time frame only.
  • The candidate must upload the current photographs (Size 10 to 100 KB,) Scanned Images of the signature in the size suggested by the CTET 2020 Authority in the registration dashboard.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
  • The size of the scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).
  • The students will get the Automatic registration number and the Password after the submission of the Application Form.
  • The students must keep the registration number and the password with them for future reference.
  • All the details must be entered by the student must be accurate and carefully entered, Wrong information leads to the rejection of the application by the CBSE.
  • Students must keep the printout of the registration confirmation page.

Application Fee of CTET

Here we are mentioning the Application Fee of CTET. The Application Fee of CTET is available here for all the candidates for both sessions. The candidates must check the application fee and then proceed to pay.

  • The Application Fee of CTET can be paid through the online mode and Offline mode.
  • The candidates can pay the CTET 2020 Application fee through the Net baking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ UPI/ Paytm etc.
  • The candidates can pay the CTET application fee through the offline mode also by the E- Challan by the Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank and keep the receipt for future reference.
  • Students are advised for using the online method of paying the CTET fee through the online mode.
  • Once the fee is paid will not be refunded.

CTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Here in this section, we are mentioning the CTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria which is given here for the Primary and Elementary stage.

The Primary stage is termed for the Class First to the Class Fifth. The Elementary stage is termed for the class sixth to class eight.

For Primary Stages:

Qualification:

  • Senior Secondary: Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent education with minimum 50% Marks in the qualifying examinations or candidate appeared in the 2 years of the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)from any government recognized Board/ Body/ Institution.
  • NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure): Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent education with a minimum of 45% Marks in the qualifying examinations or candidate appeared in the 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). from any government recognized Board/ Body/ Institution following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
  • (B.EI.Ed): Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent education with minimum 50% Marks in the qualifying examinations or candidate appeared in the 4 years of the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from any government recognized Board/ Body/ Institution.
  • Diploma in Education (Special Education): Passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent education with minimum 50% Marks in the qualifying examinations or candidate appeared in the 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). from any government recognized Board/ Body/ Institution.
  • Graduation: The candidates must have passed the Graduation with a minimum of 50% and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Note: Any candidate who has qualified Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution will be considered as a teacher from the class I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher.

The candidate shall mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.

For Elementary stage:

Qualification:

  • Graduation: Passed or Appeared in the final year of the graduation with a minimum of 50% Marks are eligible for the CTET 2020 Entrance test.
  • (D.El.Ed.): Candidate completed Two Year (D.El.Ed.) A diploma in Elementary Education is eligible for the CTET 2020.
  • (B. Ed): Appeared in the first year of the 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure): Passed Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks or appearing in the 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • 4- year (B.EI.Ed): Candidates who have passed their 12th Class and with a minimum of 50% marks and completed or appeared in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • (Special Education) *: Candidates who have passed the graduation with minimum 50% marks or appear in the 1 Year B.Ed. in special education are eligible for the CTET 2020 entrance test.

Note: Those candidates who have qualified B.Ed from any recognized NCTE are eligible for the CTET/ TET.

  • Relaxations in Marks: 5% will be relaxation for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled / Reserved category.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in the CTET 2020 Entrance test.
  • The number of attempts: There are no attempt limits.

CTET 2020 Exam Pattern:

Here we are mentioning the details of the CTET 2020 Exam Pattern.  The Exam Pattern must be known by the candidates who are appearing for the CTET 2020.

There CBSE has given different exam patterns for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Those who wish to teach to Class 1 to class 5thhas to appear for paper 1. Those candidates who wish to teach from class 6th to the class 8th must have to paper for Paper 2 of the elementary stage.

Those who wish to teach both the sections have to appear for both the papers.

For Paper I (for Classes I to V) Primary Stage:

  • Qualifying Marks: The candidates who will secure 60% Marks or above will be considered as a qualified CTET Entrance test.
  • Mode of Examination: The examination will be conducted through offline mode.
  • Duration of the exam: The question paper will be off 2 hours and 30 Minutes.
  • The number of questions: The question paper will be 150 Questions.
  • Types of Questions: The questions will be asked in the multiple-choice format (MCQs).
  • Marking Scheme: +1 one mark will be allotted for each correct question.
  • Total Marks: The question paper will be 150 Marks.
  • Sections: There will be a total of 5 sections.

CTET 2020 Preparation Tips

Here we are mentioning the CTET 2020 Preparation Tips details. The CTET 2020 Preparation Tips will help the candidates to secure good marks in the entrance test. The tips which are mentioned here are suggested by the CTET Toppers.

  • The candidates must know the complete exam pattern and the syllabus before starting the preparation of the CTET 2020 Entrance test.
  • The students must prepare the timetable of the studies and follow it regularly.
  • Revise the studied portion and keep yourself relaxed.

CTET 2020 Admit Card

The CTET 2020 Admit Card will be released through online mode. CTET 2020 Admit Card has been released on 13th January 2021.

The candidates can download the CTET 2020 Admit Card from the official website, The CTET Authority will not release CTET 2020 Admit Card through any offline mode or send it to the address of the student their address by India Post any mean.

The candidate can download the CTET 2020 Admit Card by entering their Roll Number and PASSWORD/ Login credentials. The CTET 2020 Admit Card is the most important document that must be carried on the day of the examination.

The candidate must be being the CTET 2020 Admit Card along with the government ID proof on the day of the examination. The students will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without the CTET 2020 Admit Card.

In case of any discrepancy noticed in the admit card regarding particulars of the candidate, photograph, and signature or any other information vary from the confirmation page, he/she may immediately contact the CTET unit for necessary corrections.

CTET 2020 Answer Key

Here we are mentioning the details of the CTET 2020 Answer Key. The CTET 2020 Answer Key has been released on 19th February 2021. The candidates can download the CTET 2020 Answer Key from the official website. The CTET 2020 Answer Key has been released through the online mode.

The candidates can download the CTET 2020 Answer Key by entering their Login Credentials. The CTET 2020 Answer Key will help the candidates to verify the estimated marks that they are securing the CTET 2020.

The CTET 2020 Answer key will contain all the correct answer that was asked in the entrance test. The students will not get the CTET 2020 Answer Key in any offline mode.

CTET 2020 Result

The CTET 2020 Result has been released through the online mode. The candidates who have participated and given the entrance test will be able to check the CTET 2020 Result.

The CTET 2020 Result will be declared on the official website. The candidates can check the CTET 2020 Result by entering their Registration number and Password.

CTET 2021 Result has been Declared on 26th February 2021. The CTET 2020 Result will not be sent to the candidates through offline mode.

The authority will publish the CTET 2020 Result in pdf format. The students can check the CTET 2020 Result and those who will secure a minimum of 60% will be considered as CTET Qualified.

CTET 2020 Cut-Off

The candidates will be able to check the CTET Cut-Off after the duration of the result. The CTET Cut-Off for the General Candidates is 60% marks and those will get the eligibility certificate from the authority.

  • School managements (Government, local bodies, government-aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., following their extant reservation policy.
  • Should give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process, however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment
