MH CET LawMH CET Law 2023 Syllabus is different for 3 years and 5 years of LLB programs. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is organized under the guidance of the State-Level Common Entrance Test. The exam was first initiated in 2016 and from then on it became famous amongst aspirants who are seeking a profession in Law. Applicants on a high level opt for the LL.B three-year and LL.B Five year courses.

Getting through this entrance test, there will not be unemployment. Government and Private law colleges have been established to put the students to test their level of interpretation and skills along with providing them with a bright and glorious career. To get admission, you will be required to have a 10+2 passing certificate from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the marks achieving 45% in the exam.

MH CET Law 2023 Syllabus

The exam will be distributed in five sections: Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and Current Affairs. The negative marking is not included in the question paper.

You will be given two hours in order to be finished with the exam. The marks will be distributed as per the section. The students must finish the exam within the given time. The exam consists of English and Marathi language.

Syllabus for 3/5 Year LL.B Course

It is up to you to decide on the subjects. The medium through which the exam will be held is online. There will be Multiple Type Questions so it is informed to the aspirants that they must prepare with the help of the syllabus and not to skip a single question in the exam as above mentioned, there is no negative marking in the exam.

It is essential to go through the solved last year’s papers for better and more effective preparation. Without knowing the topics, it is impossible to prepare for the MH CET 2023 Exam. The syllabus is comprised of topics so read each topic. If you have become acquainted with the syllabus, then passing the exam with good marks is a cup of tea.

Legal Aptitude:

This section will have questions that will challenge the candidate’s interest in the study of Law, Legal Aptitude, and ability to solve problems. Based on a set of facts and legal prepositions, questions will be framed. Candidates are required to answer the questions considering the provided prepositions with strong conclusions

General Knowledge of Current Affairs: 

To prepare for this section, aspirants must have knowledge of History (ancient, medieval and modern), Geography, Civics Economics, etc. Also, candidates must follow the newspapers regularly to stay updated with the latest events

Logical and Analytical Reasoning:

The questions in this section will test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links, and correct illogical arguments. Questions will include wide analogies, competing arguments, to draw well-supported conclusions, applying rules and reasoning by analogy

English:

In this section, questions will be based on topics like synonyms, antonyms, analogies, idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, and rearrangement, fill in the blanks, common errors, spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes, etc. Also, questions there will be questions based on a comprehension passage

Mathematical Aptitude:

Questions here will be challenging the numerical ability of candidates. To prepare for this section, aspirants can go through Class 10 level Mathematical questions like Speed and Distance, Venn Diagram, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Algebra, Average, etc.

Mathematical Aptitude (for 5 years LL.B only):

This section is prepared to test the candidate’s interest in Mathematics which would broadly include numerical ability. The Mathematical questions will be asked from the 10th Standard. It will contain various topics like Profit and Loss, Speed and Distance, Time and Work, Algebra, Average, Venn Diagram, etc.
