AP ECET 2023 Application Form Last Date has been extended till 1st May 2023 with late fee of Rs. 5000/-. Admit Card will be available on 12th June 2023. The Examination will be held on 20th June 2023. The Full form of AP ECET 2023 is Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur conduct this exam. This is a state-level entrance exam conducted every year. Interested candidates can go and check the official website for details. 

This exam is conducted for candidates who are Diploma holders of Engineering, B.Sc, Technology, and Pharmacy degree holders. Candidates who qualify for the exam will get admission to B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharma courses. And those candidates will get admission to AICTE/PCI-approved colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh.

Dates are essential for every candidate. The candidates who wait for exam dates and application dates can now take a look at the dates and events. Candidates are advised to prepare for the exam as per the dates given.

AP ECET 2023 Application Form 

Candidates who want to take this exam must fill out the application form. The application form is an important step. It will allow you to have an admit card as well. The application form for AP ECET 2023 will be released online on the official website. 

Make sure you fill correct details about yourself in the application form. All information should be as per your documents. The application form is essential, so fill it out carefully. The other information on the AP ECET 2023 application is given below. 

  • The AP ECET 2023 application forms will only be released on the official website.
  • The start date to submit the application form for AP ECET 2023 would be in the 4th week of February 2023. 
  • The last date to submit the application form for AP ECET 2023 would be in March and April 2023.
  • Only one application form is allowed per candidate. You cannot fill out more than one application form in any case. 
  • Upload your documents in the form as they are instructed in the application form. 
  • Do not miss out on any instructions given in the application form. 
  • Please do not make any mistakes in the application form, as it is essential.  
  • Carefully fill in your information, such as Name, Date of birth, etc. Avoid making any mistakes. 
  • Note all the information like registration number, User ID, and Password because you will have to use this to login into your ID. 
  • After submission, do not forget to take a printout of the application form.
  • None of the candidates has to send the application form to the exam authority. 

AP ECET 2023 Application Fee 

The application fee is the next thing a candidate must do after completing the application form. This step is not to be missed by any candidate. The application fee is set by the exam conducting authority. Every candidate has to pay the application fee.

Candidates who fail to pay the application fee will not be allowed to give the exam. It is mandatory to pay the application fee. The AP ECET 2023 application fee is given below. This fee can be paid at OP centres in Andhra Pradesh. And net banking is also available along with Debit Cards and Credit cards. 

  • Every candidate must pay INR 500 as an application fee for the AP ECET 2023 exam. 

AP ECET 2023 Application Form Correction 

The application form for AP ECET 2023 form will be released on the online website. If any candidate wants to make changes to their application form, they can do so. Some dates will be announced to correct the application form. 

Make sure you are correcting your application form on those dates only. After you have done your corrections, make sure to check it. All the other details will be released online on the website. 

AP ECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria refer to qualifications set by the exam conducting authorities. These qualifications are mandatory for every candidate. They all have to follow it. If a candidate does not fit the eligibility criteria, they will not be allowed to give the exam. 

That is why the candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Make sure you read the criteria as per your course. The AP ECET 2023 eligibility criteria are given below. 

Nationality 

The candidates must be Indian Citizens and citizens of Andhra Pradesh. 

Education Qualification 

  • A Diploma in B.Tech/ Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh or any other with 45% marks is required. And 40% marks for the reserved category. Or
  • Candidates must have passed 3 years of a B.Sc Degree or its equivalent.  Mathematics should be one of the subjects. It should be done from a recognized University in the state with 45% marks. And 40% marks for the reserved category.
  • Candidates pursuing a Diploma course will also be eligible for the B.E./B.Tech./B. Pharmacy degree.

Domicile 

The candidate must belong to Andhra Pradesh. And they should satisfy local and Non-local requirements. 

AP ECET 2023 Exam Pattern 

Exam pattern refers to the pattern of the exam or the question paper. The candidates appearing for this exam should not miss out on the exam pattern. Every candidate should read it before the exam. 

The exam pattern contains all the essential information like the exam duration, total questions, negative markings, etc. Candidates should prepare for the exam with the help of the exam pattern. The AP ECET 2023 exam pattern is given below.

Atomic Structure:

Introduction-Fundamental particles – Bohr’s theory – Quantum numbers –– Aufbau principle – Hund’s rule – Pauli’s exclusion principle- Electronic configurations of elements up to atomic number 20, shapes of s,p,d orbitals.

Chemical Bonding:

Introduction types of chemical bonds – Ionic bonds taking the example of NaCl and MgO –characteristics of ionic compounds and covalent bond taking example H2, O2, N2, HCl characteristics of covalent compounds.

 Solutions:

Introduction solution classification of solutions, solute, solvent, concentration, mole concept–Molarity, –Normality, equivalent weight using acids, bases, and salts, numerical problems on Molarity and Normality.

Acids and Bases:

Introduction – theories of acids and bases – Arrhenius, Bronsted –Lowry theory – Lewis acid-base theory – The ionic product of water – PH and related numerical problems – buffers solutions Applications.

Electrochemistry:

Conductors, insulators, electrolytes – Arrhenius theory of electrolytic dissociation – electrolysis – Faraday’s laws of electrolysis- numerical problems – Galvanic cell – standard electrode potential – electrochemical series –emf and numerical problems on emf of a cell.

Water Technology:

Introduction –soft and hard water – causes of hardness – types of hardness –disadvantages of hard water – degree of Hardness, units and its relations– softening methods – permit process – ion exchange process – qualities of drinking water – municipal treatment of water for drinking purpose.

Corrosion:

Polymers:

Environmental chemistry:

Physics Syllabus 

Unit-1: Units and dimensions:

Physical quantity-fundamental and derived physical quantities-units-fundamental and derived units-SI units-multiples and sub-multiples in SI units-advantages of SI units-dimensions and dimensional formulae-dimensionless quantities application and limitations of dimensional analysis-problems.

Unit-2: Elements of vectors:

Scalar and vector quantities-examples–graphical representation of a vector-types of vector addition and subtraction of vectors-triangle law-parallelogram law and its cases-polygon law resolution of a vector-unit vector (i, j, k)-dot product and cross product of two vector characteristics of dot and cross products-examples-problems.

Unit-3: Kinematics and Friction

Equations of motion-acceleration due to gravity-equations of motion under gravity expressions for maximum height, time of ascent, time of descent, time of flight, velocity on reaching the point of projection-motion of a body projected from the top of a tower-projectile motion-examples-horizontal and oblique projections-expressions for maximum height, time of ascent, time of flight, horizontal range, magnitude and direction of resultant velocity problems. Friction-normal reaction-laws of friction-coefficients of friction-angle of friction-methods of reducing friction-advantages and disadvantages of friction-motion of a body over a smooth inclined plane and a rough inclined plane–problems.

Unit-4: Work, Power, and Energy

Work, power and energy-definitions and units-potential and kinetic energies-examples and expressions-law of conservation of energy-problems-renewable and non-renewable sources of energy (solar, wind, biogas, tidal, nuclear energies, etc)

Unit-5: Simple harmonic motion and acoustics

Definition-conditions of SHM-examples of SHM-expressions for displacement, velocity, acceleration, time period, frequency, and phase of SHM-time period of a simple pendulum seconds pendulum-problems. Sound-musical sound and noise-noise pollution-Effects and methods of control of Noise Pollution-Beats and echo-problems-Doppler effect – Explanation, cases and Applications Acoustics of buildings-Reverberation-Sabines’ formula characteristics of a good building-problems.

Unit:6: Heat and Thermodynamics

Expansion of gases-Boyle’s law-Absolute scale of temperature-Charles laws-Ideal gas equation-Universal gas constant and its value-SI Units-problems-external work done by a gas-isothermal process-adiabatic process-first law of thermodynamics and its applications to isothermal process and adiabatic process-two specific heats of a gas-relation between Cp and Cv-problems-second law of thermodynamics and its applications.

Unit:7 Modern Physics

Photoelectric effect – explanation and its laws-applications of the photoelectric effect (photocell) – critical angle and total internal reflection – optical fibres – principle, working, types and applications-concept of superconductivity – its properties and applications.

Maths Syllabus 

Unit-I Matrices:

Matrices of 3rd order: Types of matrices-Algebra of matrices-Transpose of a matrix symmetric, skew-symmetric matrices-Minor, the cofactor of an element-Determinant of a square matrix-Properties-Laplace’s expansion-singular and non-singular matrices-Adjoint and multiplicative inverse of a square matrix-System of linear equations in 3 variables-Solutions by Crammer’s rule, Matrix inversion method,-Gauss-Jordan methods. Partial Fractions: Resolving a given rational function into partial fractions.

Unit –II: Trigonometry:

Properties of Trigonometric functions – Ratios of Compound angles, multiple angles, submultiple angles – Transformations of Products into sum or difference and vice versa – Simple trigonometric equations – Properties of triangles – Inverse Trigonometric functions. Complex Numbers: Modulus and conjugate, arithmetic operations on the complex number— Modulus-Amplitude form (Polar form)-Euler form (exponential form)-Properties- De Moivre’s Theorem and its applications.

Unit – III: Analytical Geometry

Circles-Equation gives centre and radius-given ends of diameter-General equation-finding centre and radius. Standard forms of equations of Parabola, Ellipse, and Hyperbola – simple properties.

Unit – IV: Differentiation and its Applications

Functions and limits – Standard limits – Differentiation from the First Principles – Differentiation of the sum, product, the quotient of functions, the function of function, trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic, Hyperbolic functions, implicit, explicit and parametric functions – Derivative of a function with respect to another function-Second order derivatives –Geometrical applications of the derivative (angle between curves, tangent and normal) – Increasing and decreasing functions – Maxima and Minima (single variable functions) using second-order derivative only – Derivative as rate measure -Errors and approximations – Partial Differentiation – Partial derivatives up to second-order – Euler’s theorem.

Unit – V: Integration and Its Applications

Indefinite Integral – Standard forms – Integration by decomposition of the integrand of trigonometric, algebraic, exponential, logarithmic and Hyperbolic functions – Integration by substitution – Integration of reducible and irreducible quadratic factors – Integration by parts – Definite Integrals and properties, Definite Integral as the limit of a sum – Application of Integration to find areas under plane curves and volumes of Solids of revolution – Mean and RMS value.

Unit – VI: Differential Equations

Definition of a differential equation-order and degree of a differential equation- formation of differential equations-solution of the differential equation of the type first order, first degree, variable-separable, homogeneous equations, exact, linear differential equation of the form dy/dx + Py = Q

AP ECET 2023 Admit Card 

Admit cards will be accessible to those candidates who will have filled out the application form. And if they have paid the application fee as well. If the candidates have not done these steps then they will not be able to get access to their to admit card. 

The APP ECET 2023 admit card would be released online on the official website. To download the admit card the candidates will have to use their login details. Every candidate has to carry their admit card with them to the exam centre. If they do not carry their admit card with them they will not be allowed to give the exam.

AP ECET 2023 Cut Off

The cut-off for AP ECET 2023 would be released on the official website. The candidates will have to score a minimum of 25% in four subjects. And SC/ST candidates will have no qualifying marks. The merit list would be released after the result is announced. 

AP ECET 2023 Counselling 

The counselling will be on those candidates whose names will appear on the merit list. The counselling for AP ECET 2023 would be done online mode. The candidates can choose their subjects and their colleges as well. A lot of rounds will take place after the counselling as well.
