JEE Advanced JEE Advanced 2023 Admit Card has been Available on 29th May 2023. The Examination will be held on 4th June 2023. JEE Advanced is conducted for those candidates who qualify for the JEE Mains exam. JEE Advanced is a national-level exam that is conducted regularly every year by any one of the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and finally IIT Roorkee in a rotational manner. The guidance for conducting the exam is provided by the Joint Admission Board also known as JAB. 

As per the latest information, the exam is going to be conducted in June 2023. All those candidates who successfully qualify for the exam will be offered admission in several Bachelor’s Integrated Master’s or Bachelor Master’s dual degree courses provided by these reputed institutions. The candidates can take admitted to Engineering and Architecture fields.

JEE Advanced 2023 Application Form

The application forms are released on the official website, and candidates must keep checking the site and fill out the application form carefully as and when they are released.   • The application form will be released in online mode only, and the candidates need to fill out the application form through the official website. 
  • As per the latest information, the registration process for JEE Advanced 2023 will start in the final week of May 2023. 
  • Firstly, during the registration process, candidates must fill out the application form with their personal, academic, and other contact details carefully. 
  • The last date to fill out the application form will be the first week of June 2023. 
  • Don’t forget to provide the working email ID and phone number while filling out the form, as all the information will be transferred to the same.

How to fill out the Application Form?

  • Go to the official website. The link will be provided as and when it is released. 
  • Candidates must log in with the details asked. One needs to enter all the details correctly as all the information related to the exam will be communicated through that valid mobile number and email ID only. 
  • Once the login details are entered, candidates must complete the application form. 
  • Move ahead and enter your personal, communication, qualification details etc. 
  • Candidates then need to upload the scanned images of their photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions in the format and size mentioned in the notification. 
  • All the candidates must pay the application fee in the prescribed mode, including debit card, credit card, internet banking, UPI, etc. 
  • All the application details should be verified, and then the form should be submitted. 
  • Candidates must print the application form and the payment receipt and keep it safe for future reference. 

JEE Advanced 2023 Form Correction

According to the latest information, the facility to make corrections in the application form will not be provided once the last submission date is over. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the candidates to first ensure the eligibility criteria and other requirements of the application form and then fill the same. 

If at any stage candidates are found not eligible for the exam then their application forms will be summarily rejected without any prior notice. Fill out the form correctly at once. 

JEE Advanced 2023 Application Fee

It is the most crucial step after filling out the application form. The application forms of all the candidates will be rejected if they fail to submit the application fees within the prescribed time limit.

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The conducting authorities fix the eligibility criteria of the candidates. Candidates need to go through the eligibility criteria and firstly ensure that they are truly eligible for the exam.   • Nationality of the Candidate: The candidates must be of Indian origin in order to apply for the exam. OCI and PIO are also eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates of foreign nationality will be eligible under the 10% supernumerary quota of seats. 
  • Age Limit: All the candidates who belong to the General and OBC categories should be born on or after October 1, 1998. Those candidates who belong to SC, ST, and PWD will be given five-year age relaxation and in that sense, they should be born on or after October 1, 1993. 
  • Educational Qualifications: The candidates must have passed the class 12th or its equivalent examination for the first time in 2023. 
  • Subjects Required: The candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the required and necessary subjects in class 12th. 
  • Minimum percentage required: All the candidates need to have 75% marks in class 12th or its equivalent in order to be eligible for the JEE advanced exam. 
  • The total number of attempts: One can only give the JEE Advanced exam twice in two consecutive years. 
  • Performance in JEE Mains: All the candidates need to be among the top 2.5 lakh candidates in order to be eligible for JEE advanced 2023. 

JEE Advanced 2023 Exam Pattern

It is important to have complete knowledge regarding the examination pattern before applying for the exam. It helps you to understand whether you are suitable for attempting the examination or not. 

The examination pattern is described below for your reference. Candidates can look at the mode of the exam, type of questions, duration of the examination, subjects asked, etc. Let us take a look at the examination pattern below. 

  • Mode of the Exam: The exam for JEE advanced will be conducted online or computer-based. 
  • Number of Papers: There are going to be two papers in total and both of them are mandatory. 
  • Duration of the exam: The entire duration of the exam is 3 hours for every paper and in the case of PWD candidates, the duration is 4 hours. 
  • Subjects Asked: The questions are asked from three different subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 
  • Questions Type: All the questions are going to be objective in nature and only one of them will be correct. 
  • Marking Scheme: Different marks are allocated to every correct answer while negative marking is also given to every incorrect answer. 
  • Medium of the Exam: The entire examination will be conducted in English and Hindi Mediums.

As per the latest information, the admit card will only be published online. They will not be sent using any offline or postal means. JEE advanced 2023 admit card will consist of the date of exam, time of the exam, address of the venue, name of the candidate, date of birth, category of the candidate and roll number, etc which needs to be cross-checked before downloading the admit card from the official website. 

All the candidates need to carry their admit cards carefully. If one fails to do so, then one will not be allowed to appear in the exam. 

JEE Advanced 2023 Answer Key

The authorities will publish the answer keys for both papers namely Paper I and Paper II on the official website. Firstly, a provisional answer key will be published to allow the candidates to raise their objections and also calculate their raw scores.

JEE Advanced 2023 Cutoffs

Cut-offs refer to the minimum marks that the candidates must secure to pass the exam. Cut-offs will be released on the official website. The cut-off varies according to the category of the candidates. The candidates will be called for the counselling process according to the cut-off marks and marks they secured in the JEE Advanced exam.
