The Uttarakhand State Education Board (UBSE) has recognized the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) to provide teacher vacancies at primary and upper primary levels. The Uttarakhand State Education Board has organized this test to search for primary Teacher classes I to V and Elementary Teacher classes VI to VIII through UTET-I and UTET-II.

UTET Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates must have to prefer the Exam Pattern for better preparation for the examination, and the Exam Pattern will have the complete information about the UTET Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, and Number of questions that will be asked in the questions papers. • UTET Exam will be organized offline, i.e. Pen and Paper Based.
• Two sessions will be available for conducting the exam.
• A total of 150 questions will be asked in both papers.
• A total of 2 hours and 30 minutes will be the time duration for the examination.
• Except for language papers, all the questions will be asked in bilingual languages, i.e. English and Hindi.
• The question papers will be based on MCQ types (Multiple Choice Questions).
• The medium of the examination will be English or Hindi.
• Each question contains four answers; Candidates need to select one who is the right answer.
• For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded one mark.
• Candidates will not be punished for any negative marking for each incorrect answer.
• There is no negative marking in UTET Examination.

Exam Pattern for Becoming a Teacher for Class I to V (Primary Stage): The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. The total number of questions will be 150. The duration of the examination is 2:30 hours.
