CLAT CLAT 2023 2nd Provisional List has been Released on 27th January 2023. Results/Score Card has been Available on 23rd December 2023. The final Answer Key has been Released on 23rd December 2022. A Consortium of National Law Universities conducts the Common-Law Admission Law exam. This exam is performed once a year. This exam offers candidates to apply for UG and PG courses. 

The Examination will be held on 18th December 2022. Registration for CLAT has begun on 8th August 2022. This is a National level Law Exam. The courses will be provided to candidates in UG and PG programs by 22 participating NLUs.

CLAT 2023 Application Form 

The application form for every candidate is a very important step. The application form for CLAT 2023 would be released online on the official website only. All the other details about CLAT 2023 application form are given below. 

  • The application form for the CLAT 2023 will be available online on the official website.
  • The start date to submit the application form is on 8 August 2022.
  • The last date to submit the application form is on 18 November 2022
  • One candidate can fill out only one application form. 
  • While filling out the application form you have to upload all the documents. 
  • All the candidates will have to fill in the information on the application form very carefully so that it does not get rejected in any case. 
  • Your details like Name, Date of birth, and address should be filled with concentration.  
  • Upload the documents that are required in the application and they should be in the format that is prescribed in the form itself. 
  • Do not forget to note down your registration number, User ID, and Password as they would be used of use in the future. 
  • Make sure to take out the printout of the application form after submitting it on the official website. 
  • No Candidates will have to send any hard copy to anyone. 

CLAT 2023 Application Fees

The application fee is the last step in the application process. All the candidates who will the application form have to pay the application fee as well. The application fee is compulsory for every candidate as per their categories. 

If you submit the application form without paying the application fee then there are chances your application form would be canceled. The application fee for CLAT 2023 is given below. 

  • For OBC Category: INR 2300/-
  • For SC/ST/PWD Category: INR 1150/-

CLAT 2023 Application From Correction 

The candidates can make changes to their CLAT application form after submitting it. The application form correction facility is provided by the exam conducting body. The dates for correction would be released online on the official website along with instructions. 

CLAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility criteria is set by the official exam conducting authorities. All the candidates who are applying for the exam will have to follow the criteria. If the candidate fails to do then their application form will be canceled. 

The eligibility criteria for CLAT 2023 are given below:

For UG program

Qualification 

The candidates must have passed the exam of the 12th class from a recognized board. 

Age Limit 

There is no age limit to applying for the UG program. 

Minimum Marks 

A candidate should have 45% Aggregate marks in Qualifying exams. For SC/ST it is 40%. 

For PG Candidates 

Age Limit 

There is no upper age limit for the PG program.

Qualifications 

A candidate should have passed LLB or 5 years integrated LLB or Equivalent from a recognized University. 

Minimum Marks 

The minimum marks a candidate should score should be 50% in the qualifying exam and for SC/ST is it 45%. 

CLAT 2023 Exam Pattern 

Exam pattern contains all the information about the exam like Exam Duration, Total Marks, Total Questions, and many others. The CLAT 2023 Exam Pattern is given below.

  • Total Marks: The maximum marks for UG are 150 and for PG are 120. 
  •  Mode of Exam: Offline Mode
  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Number of Sections: 5 Sections for UG 
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for every right answer and a -0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

CLAT 2023 Admit Card 

Admits card is a very document for the exam. The candidate who would have filled out the application form and also paid the application fee will only get the admit card for CLAT 2023. Those candidates who would have not done this will not get access to their to admit cards. 

The amidst card for CLAT 2023 would be released online on the official website only. All the candidates can download their admit cards online. The candidates will have to take their admit card to the exam hall and if they fail to do so they will not be allowed to give the exam. 

CLAT 2023 Answer Key 

The answer key for CLAT 2023 would be released online on the official website. Candidates can easily download the answer key by filling up the login details online. After a few weeks of the exam, the answer key would be released. 

The exam authority would provide the candidates with the facility to raise objections against the Answer key. And after this, the final answer key would be released

CLAT 2023 Result 

As the exam would be conducted the result for CLAT 2023 would be released. The result would be released online on the official website only. After the result declaration, the merit list would be prepared. 

The candidates whose names would appear on the merit list would be called for a further process of centralized counseling. All the candidates should keep checking the online website to miss any updates. 

CLAT 2023 Cut-Off

The cut-off is set by the exam conducting authorities. To secure a position in counseling and get admission a candidate needs to get more marks than the cut-off. If any candidate does not get the CLAT cut off then they would not be allowed for counseling.

The candidates who miss out might be considered in subsequent rounds. The cut-off for CLAT 2023 would be released only after the result is announced

CLAT 2023 Counselling 

The counseling for CLAT 2023 as the other dates would be announced online. The counseling for CLAT 2023 would be conducted in various rounds in online mode. The candidates will require to show they prefer either UG or PG course.
