nda NDA 1 2023 Result will be declared in May 2023. The Examination was held on 16th April 2023. The NDA exam is conducted by the Union Service Public Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted every year for willing candidates. This is a national-level exam that is conducted two times each year.

 The candidates who apply for this exam will get admission to the Indian Navy, military, and Indian air force. The candidates who will qualify for the NDA exam will go through different rounds like interviews, medical, etc.

NDA 2023 Application Form

The application form for any examination is very important. Each candidate has to follow this first step to be eligible to give the exam. Read all the instructions in the application form and follow them carefully.

If any candidate does not fill out the application form they will not be allowed to appear for the examination. Fill in all the correct details to avoid cancellation. All the other details about NDA 2023 application form are given below.

  • The NDA 2023 application forms will be released on the official website only. 
  • The start date to submit the application form for NDA 2023 is from 21st December 2022
  • The last date to submit the application form for NDA admission is 10th January 2023.  
  • No candidate is to make any mistakes in the application form because a mistake can cancel your application form. 
  • Information like your Name, Date of birth, etc is very important and should be filled in carefully without making any mistakes. 
  • The registration number, User ID, and Password will allow you to log in to the official website and that is why you should note them down after filling out the form. 
  • One candidate needs to fill out only one application form. 
  • All the Applicants will have to upload the documents that will be asked for on the online website. 
  • Every instruction that is given in the application form holds importance. So do not miss out on the instructions. 
  • After you have filled out the application form take a printout of the form.

NDA 2023 Application Fee

The application fee is the next step after filling out the application form. All the applicants applying for this examination will have to pay the application fee. It is mandatory to pay the fee. If any candidate fails to pay the fee then they will not be allowed to appear in the exam. 

Candidates can pay the fee for NDA 2023 exam through a different source like a credit card, debit card, net banking, and SBI challan method. The application fee for NDA 2023 is given below. 

  • The fee for all candidates is INR 100/-. 
  • Candidates who belong to the category of SC, ST, ORS, NCOS, and sons of JCOS do not have to pay any application fee for this exam.

NDA 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility criteria are set up by the exam conducting authority. It refers to the qualifications that are required for the examination. Every candidate has to fulfill this eligibility criterion to be able to appear for the examination.

If any candidate does not fulfill this criterion they will not be allowed to appear for the examination. It is also advised that the candidates read the criteria before filling out the application form. The eligibility criteria for NDA 2023 are given below.

Nationality

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens/subjects of Nepal/subjects of Bhutan/refugees of Tibet who came to India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle in India permanently. 
  • Candidates who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the east African countries of Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda, or Vietnam to settle in India can also apply. 
  • Foreign nationals except Gorkhas will be required to produce a certificate of eligibility which is issued by Govt. of India. 

Academic Qualification

  • For Air Force & Naval Wings (Cadet entry scheme): Applying candidates must have passed the 10+2 class examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • For Army Wing: 12th pass candidates will be eligible to apply for this exam. 
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the 12th level are also eligible to apply.

Gender, Age & Marital Status

  • Both male and female candidates will be eligible for NDA 2023.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to marry until they complete their training period.
  • Applying candidate’s age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years. 
  • For NDA I, the candidate must be born between 2nd July 2004 to 1st July 2007. For NDA II, the candidate must be born between 2nd January 2005 to 1st January 2008.

Fitness Criteria

  • Candidates must be physically fit as per the physical standards set by the commission/ authorities.
  • Candidates who have withdrawn or resigned from any training academies of the Armed forces on disciplinary grounds will not be eligible for NDA 2023 examination.

NDA  2023 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern contains all the important information related to the examination. Every candidate should go through this carefully. It contains information like exam duration, language, exam mode, etc. Exam patterns will help you in preparation for the exam. The NDA 2023 exam pattern is given below. 

  • Exam mode: this exam will be held in offline mode.
  • Duration: This exam will be conducted for five hours.
  • No. of sections: this exam will have 2 sections maths and GA
  • Language: NDA examination will be held in two languages that are English and Hindi.
  • Question type: the questions will be asked as MCQs
  • Negative marking: 33% of marks given to this paper will be deducted.

NDA 2023 Admit Card

The admit card for NDA 1st session will be released a few days before the examination. The admit card would be released online on the official website. Every candidate can download the admit card by using their login details. 

The admit card is a very important document that is to be carried to the exam center. So when you get access to the exam center you should download the admit card. If any candidate finds any mistake in the admit then they should contact the authority before the exam. 

NDA 2023 Answer Key

NDA 2023 Cut Off 

The cut-off for NDA 2023 will be released online on the website. The cut-off will be released for different wings like the army, navy, naval academy air force, and more. The cut-off will be released first for the written exam and then for the SSB interview round. 

The cut-off marks we the minimum marks which will be set by the exam authority. The candidates will have to score more than the cut-off to qualify for the exam. If any candidates do not score more than the cut off then they will not qualify for the exam. 

NDA 2023 Interview

The last stage of this exam is the interview round. The applicants who would have cleared the written test by scoring more than the cut-off marks will be allowed to appear for the interview round. There would be two stages which will be conducted over 4 days. 

The stage 1 process will be of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) and picture perception and description test (PP & DT). In the stage 2 process candidates will go through – interview, group testing officer tasks, psychology test,s and conferences.
